Dear Litter Robot,

I have a 1.5 year old cat named Squeebles who suffers from a congenital condition known as Cerebellar Hypoplasia. It basically means that the part of his brain that controls his motor skills is underdeveloped, so he has a hard time with his coordination. He walks ok, but crookedly, and often falls down. He cannot jump onto high areas, or off of things without falling over. Cats cope with this disease incredibly well, you should have seen what he was like as the tiny 4 week old orphaned kitten that I took in, barely able to stand, and now he manages to climb onto chairs, etc. Before the litter robot, I had a terrible time with his litter habits. He cannot use a traditional litterbox as he easily falls out and over the side and misses his target. I had more success with large, covered litterboxes, however his inability to balance caused him to often fall into messes that were previously left by my 3 other cats if I was out and hadn’t had a chance to scoop. He would often get covered in their messes, and became so discouraged by this fact that he would then eliminate right NEXT to the litterbox if it was dirty. I have tried other types of self-cleaning litterboxes before, but they were unable to keep up with my brood of 4 (previously 5) cats. If they were not getting stuck, the motor would die out from constant use. So, I had to stick with manual labor. I found myself constantly scooping scooping, going through TONS of litter, and cleaning up pee from hardwood floors. My life seemed to revolve around the litterbox! I am a certified veterinary technician, with a deep love of animals and an EXTREME attachment to Squeebles, so finding him or any of my other cats a home was simply NOT an option.

Finally, I saved up enough money to get the Litter Robot, and it is the absolute BEST investment I have ever made. The price tag was a bit high at first, but I can tell you right now it has already nearly paid for itself in the 6 months I’ve had it by saving me time and cutting my litter purchasing by over half, and has also made me so much happier by seeing . Not only does the covered design provide stability for little Squeebles and allow him to hold himself up, but because it’s always clean, he never has accidents! He is also able to get in and out of it very easily thanks to the wide step. I know this device was designed for normal cats, but it has been a godsend for my Squeebles, and I know it can help other cats like him. I tell EVERY cat owner I know about this excellent product (and that’s quite a bit considering I am a technician). It has already helped several cats I know with litterbox behavioral issues. These issues are why a large number of cats are rehomed or put to sleep every year, so again, I thank you for that also.

I am attaching a picture of Squeebles. Also, here are 2 links to youtube videos we have posted of him:

Not to be forgotten, the other 3 cats I own, a 10 month old Bengal, a 1 year old Maine Coon mix, and a 15 year old Tabby, all love the Robot as well. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you. You have made a large component of Squeebles’ suffering go away, and that has made us all so much happier!

Love,
