Another happy customer
I got mine about 2 1/2 years ago. I had 6 cats at the time and 4 of them took to it right away. The other two never did, they hated covered boxes. Nevertheless, I had a whole lot less to clean up. I now have only 2 of the original ones and 1 new one. That one won’t use it either but the other two do, one of them exclusively. You won’t be able to get her near a regular box. I find that a cat that was used to a covered box is more likely to use the Litter Robot, a stray is least likely to use it. Age does not seem to make a difference.
After about 1 year the Litter Robot started making a weird noise and a “clunk” when it turned. The company sent me a label to have it shipped to their facility and 2 weeks later had it back minus the noise and the “clunk” . There was no charge for the repair.
About 6 months later I had another problem, I called and was walked through taking care of the problem myself (a small adjustment in the bottom of the box that anyone could do) and there have been no problems since.
This is what I call real customer service.
I am so impressed with the Litter Robot that when I see someone in the pet shop looking at automated boxes I buttonhole them and tell them to look at the Litter Robot on the Internet first because I have tried all the other ones too and had never found one that works as well. The Litter Robot, which has never jammed, unlike the Littermaid and the Purrforma (that one is a real piece of junk and I don’t see it in the pet store anymore either). For all the money I spent on the other boxes I could have bought a second Litter Robot.
I am glad to see that the Litter Robot is now advertised in Cat Fancy Magazine and hopefully make life easier for many more cat lovers.
Sincerely,
