Great self cleaning litter box
I have used the Littermaid self cleaning litter box for quite a few years and when I went to buy a new one it did not work as well as my old one. The new one with the floating rake would jam up if the litter was too high in one area. I returned it and tried to keep the old one working as long as possible.
I started to do some research and I found the Pet Genie and the Litter robot. The pet genie claims to wash the litter and dispense the waist in the toilet or laundry drain, but it takes 30 minutes to do the process and it requires buying a lot of products to maintain. After seeing the demonstration video and reading the consumer reports, I decided to purchase the litter robot. The cost is a little more but its worth it in the long run.
When I first set it up my kitty immediately went in so there wasn’t anything else I had to do to get him used to it. The first time it started the cleaning cycle he was fascinated by it. Now when it starts the cleaning cycle he runs into the room just to watch it. My cat loves it and I can’t believe how maintenance frees it is. This by far is the best product of its kind, years ahead of the competition.

I have had my Litter Robot for several years now and would just like to say a big ” Thank You”. The customer service dept gave excellent outstanding service about a year ago when I had a problem with the original globe . My cat loves it and so do I. I hated cleaning out the old litter box . I have also saved alot of money on litter. I would say with the Litter Robot I buy at least half ( probably more then that ) as much litter as I had to with a regular litter pan or box.

Now I want one of the newer models with the extended window in the back. My cat is a large cat and that was my only disappointment with the globe I have. It needed to be a little bigger. Will have to work on talking hubby into it …. Not an easy task.
