This is kind of a testimonial, but is mostly in response to a request to let you know how I like the new design of the litter robot.

Before I talk about the robot, I’d like to talk about you. It always makes a person feel good to speak with a company that is 100% American. It is especially wonderful to talk to people who are as nice and helpful as your staff is. The experience of purchasing a litter robot is truly enhanced by the kindness, understanding, and helpful attitude of the folks on the phone. Dare I say, “I love you guys”? I guess not, it doesn’t seem quite appropriate.

Now on to the advancements in the litter robot. I have owned a litter robot since 2006 and from the minute I got my first one (the original model), I thought it was “the best thing since sliced bread” (a really inappropriate comparison, I know). All I could tell a first time purchaser or someone wondering if there really are any improvements is that the newer model (believe it or not) actually does have some greatly improved features. It is quieter, the little flap that goes over the side openings is a cool idea (I do chuckle, however, thinking of someone’s confused little kitty going through the side openings rather than the main entrance; my cats have never been that creative), and the box covering the sensitivity devise and the knob on the underside of the drawer to change the tension is a major upgrade.

The only thing I hope will go back to the drawing board is the holes on the top of the step. I am sure that they are necessary to the charcoal filter, but my cats (yes, the ones that don’t go through the side openings) are often kicking litter onto the step and that ends up falling through onto the table top. Fortunately I know how to use a small brush and this is a very minor thing.

It is truly my belief that anyone who owns a cat (or two or three) should own a litter robot. It is the cleanest and easiest system for dealing with kitty litter that I have found. I know it is expensive, but you do use less kitty litter and you get to show it off to all of your friends. In addition to those points – anyone who gets a litter robot gets the opportunity to get to know your staff!

Thank you again for all of your help, your time, and your expertise.
Susan
