My oldest cat, Shadow, started using the Litter-Robot seven years ago. His younger siblings have used it for six years. The convenience is a great time saver for me and the cats love it. With three cats in the house, there is never an unpleasant odor to worry about and the unit uses a minimal amount of litter, which has become increasingly expensive.

After seeing how wonderful the Robot is, my sister, niece and two friends ordered them and are also very pleased. Recently my son acquired a cat and Robot number six was purchased. She took to it immediately and they were able to remove the litter box the same day.

Robot number seven was just ordered as Shadow is now 21 pounds and is not comfortable in the original robot. I had been thinking for some time that it would be nice to have a larger model. Then, when I referred another friend to the web site…she told me about the LR2 which provides an additional three inches of space. I’m willing to gamble that Shadow will once again have the space he needs and the giant size litter box can be placed in storage.
