This product is nothing short of AMAZING! I have four cats and FIVE litter boxes. When you have multiple cats, it’s almost impossible to know which cat does what and when. I had a cat that was urinating (marking) her spot all over the house. She peed on any rug I had in the house. I replaced wall-to-wall carpeting in the living room and an upstairs bedroom and had laminate installed trying to get rid of the cat odor. She urinated on the new flooring. Our house is for sale and when agents came in the door to do their tour, all but one remarked they smelled cats & cat urine. Come to find out, the cat, when urinating on the loveseat (which I kept trying to clean), had peed between the cusions and I didn’t realize it. I was at my wits end, thought about getting rid of the cat, but knew I couldn’t!! I’ve had the Litter Robot for about 3 weeks and was upset at first because after about a week, none of the cats had done anything in it (I was still keeping ONE litter box out). After that I noticed it was starting to be used and to make a long story short…my urinating cat now seems to go only in the litter box. My guess is that she is one of those “pristine” cats that demands a CLEAN litter box. The loveseat has been removed and replaced with different furniture and no more cat smell. We had an Open House on Sunday and I put a rug on the tile at the entry way. Today is Tuesday and the rug is still there with no sign and, more importantly, smell of cat urine! THANK YOU LITTER ROBOT! This is absolutely worth the money.
