We’re THRILLED!
I have 5 cats. You can imagine the nightmare that having 5 cats can create when it comes to litter boxes. We got the LR on Friday and set it up. I cheated a little. I put fresh litter in it and didn’t feed the cats during the day so they were really hungry. Then I took them one at a time into the room where I put the LR. I let them smell and taste the food and then set it in the back of the LR. They went for it right away! After I showed all 5 where it was with the food, I just waited. I kept it turned off but kept an ear out for when I thought I heard litter scratching. Sure enough, within 3 days all of them were using it. Because I have 5, I don’t let it run automatically. It would run all the time! I run it every 6 hours and that is plenty. Today we threw out the 4 boxes and scoopers we were using daily. We’re THRILLED!

Update: Now that we’ve had it a couple of weeks I wanted to share a funny with you. My husband and young son have started calling it the cement mixer! “MOM! The cement mixer is running again!” We get quite a kick out of it and I am beyond thrilled.

Funny because that’s exactly how I describe the Litter Robot. It reminds me of a cement mixer.

My dad called it a cement mixer as soon as it came out of the box! LOL! That is what we call it around here now too!
