I have a very shy kitty that took a few days to introduce the litter box. I made the mistake of jumping right in and putting the unit into action. I had to shut the unit off and follow the directions in the brochure to reintroduce the kitty to the litter box. It took a few days of her peeking around the corner at the unit, not coming into the kitchen until late at night, walking far away from the unit and then reaching out her paw to touch it carefully and then jumping away from it. Finally, she tried it and she and my other cat have been lived happily ever after with the unit.

Don’t hesitate, my house it cleaner, I don’t have tracked litter, I can come in the house and it doesn’t stink from a used box. It’s easy to clean, I grab a clorox wipe or baby wipe and clean the inside (three minutes). In the summer, it has a quick hose down and dries very quickly.
