Disgusted with changing the litter box, I reluctantly purchased the Litter-Robot. It took at least a month to convince the cats to use the new apparatus but it was well worth the wait. Emptying the litter box is a breeze. The litter lasts forever and that saves not only the cost, but dragging around heavy boxes. I use regular kitchen garbage bags which are always available. I am glad I made the purchase and I wish I had a Litter-Robot years ago.

Everybody Wins With This Product

The litter robot has been a life saver. I have 7 cats ( 4 are mine and 3 were left by my daughter when she relocated out of the country) and I travel for work. The maintenance of 7 litter pans was pure drudgery. I have had my robot for 3 months and so far so good! I try to empty the waste tray every 2 days because of the volume. One of the cats is older and getting sub-q fluids 3x a week so she makes a lot of urine but emptying the tray is nothing compared to sifting a litter box. It is much healthier for me (no dust) and for the cats because the litter is always clean. I have wasted money in the past on 3 different litter-maid automatic boxes and emptying those trays was almost as bad as sifting litter manually plus the tines would get gummed up and nasty. I am very pleased with the quality of the product and the warranty. Also, its nice to know that I can purchase the parts if needed. I can’t say thank you enough for this great invention. Everybody wins with this product.

I am in Love With My Litter Box!

I am in love with my litter box! We purchased out litter box three years ago and it has worked perfectly every day 365 days a year! Both of our cats are very choosy about their boxes and if the box is slightly dirty the cats wont use them. The Litter Robot keeps the litter clean keeping the cats happy and keeping me happy. With out two cats we have to empty the drawer once a week, they say you should empty it more but ours don’t need it. We recycle plastic grocery bags in the catch bin, they are a tad too small but work fine. I also enjoy the fact that our dogs can’t get into the litter box and help themselves to “the kitty buffet” no one likes kitty poo kisses! I would purchase another in a heart beat! The box seems expensive but for the convenience of not cleaning the litter box multiple times a day and the hardiness of the box I suggest it for every one.

Things Are Great

I have to say that I have been impressed so far with this litter box. I have been a long time Littermaid user, but when they switched their boxes, and mine broke, I was not happy with the result. Needless to say, I returned the new Littermiads after a few weeks of use.

I was worried that my cats would not take to this, I have an 11 year old tabby and a 15 pound Ragdoll. he Ragdoll took to it sooner, I am assuming because he is younger. Now that they have taken to it, things are great.

I am impressed with the storage capacity of the drawer. Where I had to change it 2-3 times a week with the Littermaid, I now change it 1 time/week.

Ingenious Design

I received my robot just before Christmas & couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase.

Ingenious design. Quiet, clean, almost perfection. Only a few flecks of litter get tracked out of the robot when the cat exits. Most is trapped by the extended lip but some does fall to the step and/or drops to the floor but it’s an insignificant amount.

I’ve tried several automated boxes & this product is a world apart from the competition. Others have been constant frustrations.

The litter stays clean, fresh & always looks like it was poured fresh from the container. I can see how it will significantly decrease money spent on litter. None is wasted. With 1 cat, I’m adding 1-2 large coffee mugs of new litter per week.

Well worth the price. I expected this purchase to be just another costly/disappointing over-indulgence with high hopes of it being a significant improvement on the littermaid. There is a world of difference. I’m thrilled with this purchase & am now wondering what took me so long to order.

I LOVE this litter box. I need two boxes in the house I bought the first one & my female cat began using it the first afternoon, so I ordered the second one the next week, but my male cat was stubborn about using it even though he knew how. I did everything they suggest on the website, and, after a week- long potty standoff, he finally gave up & decided it was really a good thing. They both use the boxes all the time now, & honestly they are worth a million bucks to me. I don’t regret having spent the money one bit. The clean-up is so easy & there is almost no odor at all. Me & the kitties still enjoy watching the things every time they run, so do all of my cat-owning friends. Anything that turns poop into an entertaining activity has got to be good. Try it, you’ll like it!

No more smell !!!

I have had the litter robot for 2 weeks. My 2 cats used it immediately. No more smell !!! It works flawlessly. There is much less litter scatter than all the other boxes I have had. I will never have anything else. I love it !!!!!

3 OLD cats,,, could they make the transition to Litter Robot? My epiphany…. maybe it will help someone else…..

First off, this litter robot is a pure engineering marvel, the inventor is a genius!! Very impressive and solid operation, it should last a great long time. We have had ours just under 90 days now.

We were quite excited when this arrived, and then the shock, no pet, especially the 3 cats, wanted to give it a go. After 2 weeks and trying all the tips included in the documentation, and of no interest by the primary characters, I contacted customer service, and got a couple tips. 1 – try “Cat Attract” litter,,, no go on that, they did not care. 2 – make a box to surround the “robot” with an entry hole, they should enjoy the intrigue,,,, no go on that one either, still not budging. I began to think the “robot” despite it’s inventiveness, was going back.

Then I got my epiphany,,,,, leave the litter robot as is, change the remaining old style litter box! So, I made a box to surround the old box, with a lid section so I could clean it, and an entry hole exactly the same size as that of the litter robot. I also raised it on a stand so the entry point was at the same level as the litter robot, and made a step at the same height as the litter robots step. Lastly, I set the 2 boxes facing each other a couple feet apart and let my idea develop.

It took 3 days, and then the oldest cat started using the robot! Yippee!! 2 days after that, the youngest of the old guys started on the “robot”. Now, it’s been 2 weeks with this idea, and we have the curmudgeon of the 3 still steadfast in his refusal, but even at that the improvement in litter detail is just short of amazing.

So, the litter robot is staying, I removed the plastic protector from the control panel the other day, officially making it part of the household. Hopefully the curmudgeon will start using it, if he would just climb in it once I would remove the other old box, but until then, I can’t bring myself to go cold turkey.

I absolutely love this thing. I am away a lot and with two cats I only need to empty the bag once a week and I never have to do anything else. I’ve had cats as far back as I can remember and many litter cleaning machines but this works the best. Not pretty, but you can buy boxes to hide it if that is a problem for you. Had it for at least two years…. Thanks!

I have used just about all the regular automated boxes on the market and have seen them all fail. With 6 cats this is the only one that has stood the test and done what it said it would. I just changed my other two regular boxes after 1 month! I wish I would have known about this sooner GREAT JOB!
