I LOVE this product. Seriously. Don’t even bother with the LitterMaid, it’s a piece of junk. This is the first (and only, as far as I can tell)) automated litter box cleaner that actually works. Clean up is a breeze and I love that I can use my own bags (I use biodegradable bags). It is made in the USA and feels as sturdy as it should. My 2 cats took to it immediately and love to watch it turn. If you have a cat, and especially if you have more than one cat – buy this product!

ANYONE WHO OWNS A CAT — NO DOUBT AT ALL – SHOULD OWN A LITTER-ROBOT. I WOULD PROBABLY NOT HAVE ADOPTED BY CAT, AS WHEN I WAS APPROACHED ABOUT ADOPTING HER, I DID NOT WANT TO SCOOP A LITTER BOX, SO I WENT ON-LINE & FOUND THE LITTER-ROBOT, AND MY DECISION WAS MADE. CAN YOU BELIEVE THE PEOPLE OUT THERE SCOOPING EVERYDAY – NOT !!!!!!!!!

Litter Robot Early Adopter, Evangelist and Repeat Customer!!

I purchased my first litter robot when it first came onto the market several years ago and it’s still working great! No more daily scooping and the tray is good for a week before I need to change.

I’ve tried other so call “automatic” litter boxes with the rake thing and they just don’t work for 2 reasons: 1) my cat’s pee makes a very large and hard ball that sometimes jam the rake or don’t fit the small containers and 2) my cat pees standing up (need a high back to contain his pee). The litter robot solves both these problems!!!

I purchased my second litter robot when I adopted my second cat and both me and my cats are happy. More cats to love but not more time spent scooping.

I just ordered my third litter robot as I’ve adopted a third cat and need an additional box. I also ordered the cabinet to hide the litter robot and
make it look more like furniture.

Finally, I’ve told all my friends with cats about it and many have converted.

The only downside and my one suggestion for improvement is some kind of see-through flap or door to reduce litter tracking out of the box as my cat likes to kick around inside and litter comes flying out the opening. I’ve fashioned my own “curtain” using clear plastic, which works just fine.

I have purchased this for my sister and she loves it and have told another person who has 4 cats. However, my only comment and question would be are you planning on enlarging it because with larger cats it seems way to cramped and in fact the people with the 4 cats only 1 of there smaller cats chose to use it. In time I plan to get a cat or two and would be purchasing this for me, however it might be nice if you had the option to buy a larger one. Even though to look at it it seems large but the inside isn’t that big.

This does what it claims to do. I had to go back to the old way after my cat had to wear an elizabethn collar — boy what a hassle scooping!! I was so relieved when I returned to the effortless system of the Litter- Robot. It is great get it.

Litter Robot has solved all of my problems. My allegy and my back problems.
I brought this in May 2009.
I have tried several different kinds of litter boxes and not very happy with any of them. I kept looking for the right litter box for my cat Blackie. I needed something that I didn’t have to bend over to long with my back problems to scoop for any length of time and the dust from the litter. I have been looking at LR for a long time. I kept reading the testimonials and looking the how it worked and I liked the way it worked the fact it didn’t have a rack to get clogged up. So I finally said this is it and I brought a reconditioned one. When I got it out of the box, I set it up and put it in the 2nd bath which is Blackie’s bathroom. I put it between toilet and sink, it just fit perfect there. I took the old litter box out right away and Blackie had no problem getting used to it at all. Shortly I had a problem with it and I read the manual and said sensor needed to be adjusted. I did that and no more problems. Then all sudden I get this red light blinking and I looked at to see what was going on and there was a pile litter out on the step. I figured Blackie decided he was going to go in and dig to litter out entance. He kept doing it few more time and I was getting tired of cleaning the mess. So I went online to find out how to take care of the problem, I found out I needed to get the Lip extender and fence combo. I order the lip extender and fence combo. There is no more litter on the step.
This is the best money you could ever buy that I wish I brought this a long time ago. I feel it will last me for a long time. I am not going through alot of litter either. I did find out by using Fresh Step Litter with carbon is great with LR, it does not have any odor at all.
Litter Robot has solved all of my problems. Blackie and I love our LR. We thank you and thank you.

Wow! What great videos of the automatic litter box we all love – the Litter Robot. In total we had approximately 40 entries.  We were so impressed that we added a new prize for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place – a brand new Bubble Globe, and we’re still giving away 10 Ramps.
