While pricey, the litter robot is one incredible machine: minimizes cat-box cleaning, exceptionally reliable, and, happily, easy to wash down and disinfect! I’m saving my pennies for a second one!

My Favorite Sound Is My Litter-Robot Cleaning
I have 3 litter robots for my cats and my foster cats. I have bought every electric cat box known to man, and the robot is best hands down. I have at least 15 cats all the time, and they keep the cat box busy all the time, and I have never had a problem. My favorite sound is my robot cleaning the cat box, and I’m not!

I have had my litter robot for about a month now and I do have to say that this thing is awesome. My Perrforma Plus self cleaning litter box died earlier this year, so after a couple of month of manually scooping I started looking for a replacement. Then after looking at all of the reviews from just about every other self cleaning litter box out there, I decided to give the litter robot a shot. It is rather expensive initially, but with virtually no other extra’s to purchase after that, it actually ends up a better deal in the long run. I only have one cat (12lb tiger) and he was already used to a covered box so this was an easy transfer (just put a scoop of his old litter in with the new) and he’s been using the robot ever since. Only have to empty the bag once every 8 to 10 days and it there is virtually no smell in the house. (I spray the waste bin about every 3rd day with Lysol disinfectant spray and the room stays odor free!) It is great to be able to take off for a long weekend and not have to worry about the cat box. I suggest using the EverClean extra strength unscented litter with the robot, together they just work!

My First Review
I have 3 cats and started to look into an automated cat box a few months ago. Most reviews were terrible so I kept looking. I found littler robot on a google search and read the reviews and decided to give it a chance with the 90 day free trial. Upon arrival the set up is very easy and the 3 cats took to it immediately. Everything Litter Robot promises deliveries above and beyond on both service and machinery. Here is why…the Litter Robot worked great for 30 days and then I had some issues the machine would get stuck…I called the 800 number and before I could ask they sent me a brand new one…the new one has been working with no problems…the entire process of sending it back was easy! Fedex comes and pick it up and I didn’t have to leave the house. The Robot Litter box has changed my life! I change the Kitty bag once a week add cat litter as needed and don’t spend any time holding my nose like I used to every day! I would highly reccomend the Litter Robot to anyone!! Worst case you get your money back best case you never spend time cleaning a cat box again! I also do continue to order the trash bags and cat litter from the website it works great!!!
This is my first review of any product because its the first time a product and company has gone above and beyond!

All I can say is AWESOME!!
I received the Litter-Robot for a Christmas Present (I requested it for my gift)… All I can say it it is AWESOME!! I have 2 cats and no longer have to scoop poop 
My cats took to it very easily, but they are not too picky. They are only 1 year old, and I have changed their cat box a few times. They were very interested at first and the start up did scare them at first, but they still used it. Now if one is done the other will wait for the robot to cycle prior to entering… I just love this machine!

Caught the Puppy Using It!
I have had my litter robot for about 3 years now and my spouse and I agree it’s still one of the best investments we have ever made. We have long work hours and our two cats would “protest” a used litter box by going elsewhere – even if it had just been cleaned and they were the one who used it! No matter how diligent we were about scooping while home we would still be greeted with a mess when arriving home from work. Not only that but our dog was very attracted to munching on “kitty crunchies” which is just plain gross. We used to have to have the box up on a table, which created even more of a litter mess…. We debated getting rid of the cats due to the mess and smell. When we got the robot the cats were afraid of it, but we turned it off for a week and only ran it while comforting them to let them know it was ok. After a few weeks they didn’t even notice it working, it just became normal. Now I have the Litter Robot on the floor in my kitchen. There are no more “surprises” when I get home, my kitchen smells like fresh baked bread, cookies, or whatever else I’m cooking and not like litter! The “chore” of cleaning the cat box has been reduced to 5 minutes every sunday afternoon… It’s just a wonder. The best part though was the other night and is a story I have to share: a few months ago we got a small mixed breed puppy. She is always into everything and she climbed up into the litter robot, when I went over to see what she was up to I discovered she was using it! I guess she learned from watching the cats and decided to do that instead of going out in yet another snow storm!

The litter is lasting so much longer now
| A friend gave us theirs because their cat was afraid of enclosed spaces. I have two cats, that were curious at first of the machine but adjusted to it quickly after a couple of days. I have one big calico that’s 15 lbs that fits in it no problem, my other is a tiny 7 lbs Himalayan that thinks it’s a toy to stare at whenever it cleans itself. I love it, my husband loves it. The litter is lasting so much longer now and with two cats we only have to change the bag about once a week. I’m pregnant and this has been a life saver because now I no longer smell those cat box odors anymore thanks to the Litter-Robot…. |

This was well worth the investment
| We were aprehensive in getting the Robot as we have a 4 year old cat that is truely a scardy cat. It runs under the bed if someone drives in our driveway, so this new item in the house might scare her. We received it and put it in one of our rooms and moved her regular cat box next to it. We didn’t turn it on but let her choose which one she wanted to use. After a few days we covered her regular box with plastic that she could, if she really wanted to, use the box but she started to use the Robot. We would turn it on at night to clean it. She became curius about the noise one night and sat there and watched the Robot work. We were surprised that she continued to use the Robot and now after three weeks it is a novelty for her as she uses the robot and then when it start to clean she runs to the door of the room and sits and watches it as a form of entertainment. Needless to say we are thrilled with the Robot, it is saving our backs from the constant cleaning we had to do, entertaining our cat and eliminated some odor from the old box. This was well worth the investment and I am sure it will pay for itself in a year or so.

clean cat box all the time!
I have had my litter robot a few days now. I LOVE it! I was a little hesitant at first at the expense, but I must say I would pay $500 for it now because I love it so much. It is a well built machine and not the cats love having a clean cat box all the time! With the other review, I thought it would be noisier, but I don’t find it to be noisey at all. I can’t say enough good things about this. I have tried the other types out there and glad I found this one as I have asthma and scooping the litter made me sick (literally). I was also happy that there was a 90 day money-back guarantee, which eased my mind.
