The Litter-Robot is one of the best ways to help reduce concerns for the potential effects of toxoplasmosis. In particular, expectant Moms are advised to avoid certain things, one of which is the exposure to kitty litter. Note this comment is cautionary, rather than a certainty.

I have just completed my twice-annual wash-down and disinfecting of my litter boxes and I just had to send you a comment about Litter Robot. I have 4 cats, down from 6 (old age), 4 regular litter boxes and 1 litter robot. I couldn’t believe how EASY it was to wash down the litter robot and how exhausting it was to try and wash out the regular litter boxes! I have had the litter robot for almost 3 years and it has never had a problem — compare that to the Cat Genie (of which I have two, sadly) which has had to be sent back 3-4 times and, once again, neither of which is currently working!
While pricey, the litter robot is one incredible machine: minimizes cat-box cleaning, exceptionally reliable, and, happily, easy to wash down and disinfect!
I’m saving my pennies for a second one!

After researching for months all the self cleaning litter boxes out there, I ordered the Litter Robot Oct of 2011. It has been great and works wonderfully. I have two cats, one 19 lbs and one 10 lbs. I set it up and for the first week I didn’t plug in the Litter Robot until the cats got used to climbing in. After they were comfortable I plugged it in and I didn’t have to press the manual button anymore. It really does clean itself.

My Husband got me the Litter-Robot as a Christmas gift over a year ago and I really like it. I have 2 house cats and am very busy; this litter box takes care of everything for me. I just empty once a week and take apart and clean every other month or so. We don’t have the smell of having cats.

For those of you who are on the fence as to whether to spend this much on a liter box, of all things, get off the fence and go for it! I have 7 cats and decided to try this thing out after reviewing litter boxes for several weeks. I too was reluctant to spend this much, but boy am I glad I made the leap of faith. I was a little bit skeptical about spending so much on a litter box. I have 2 adult cats around 10 pounds each. I was never able to keep up with thelitter box and the no matter which litter I chose, it always crumbled apart. So I gave the Litter Robot a shot. It only took my cats about a week to adjust to their new litter box and it really is amazing. I used to have to clean the litter box for my 2 cats once a day and no litter would keep from crumbling and it was horrible. But with Litter Robot there is never a problem. I would never go back to my old litter box again.

Bought a Litter-Robot in December of 2011, it is amazing! NO SMELL at all. Only complanint is our Rufus jumps out onto the floor without stepping on the lever to start it, but wow what a machine. Keep it up and another great thing it is all made in our good old USA!

Not only is the Litter Robot the best invention ever, but this company is wonderful. They really stand behind their product and their customer service is the best that I have seen.

We have had two Litter-Robots and, after a few months of operation, the second one developed an error causing the base to fail to turn. I called the company and the sent me a new base and they organized the shipping for me to send back the old base. No hassles, no problems…it exceeded my expectations.

So bottom line, kitties love it and so will you!
