The litter-robot saves me money, time, and low back pain!
I have two new cats and wanted to cut the cost of boarding/pet sitter fees since I travel often. I was skeptical at first, but I read all the information, and watched the videos available and decided “why not”, the price is just about what I pay the vet for 4 days of boarding 2 cats. The Litter Robot is much quieter in real life compared to the noise in the video. The sound doesn’t wake me up in the middle of the night when the cats are very active (you would think that 6 cats had used that litter box overnight J). I smile every time I hear it during the day, what a great invention!
Before I bought the litter-robot, I was scooping twice each day to reduce the litter box odor, causing my back to twinge. The litter-robot charcoal filters and the rubber liner remove almost all the odor, even if I do not change the liner for 4 days. This is tremendous. I no longer add any enzymes to the litter either, another cost savings.
At set up, the cats jumped right in and knew exactly what to do right away, it was actually very hard to keep them out of the robot until I was done setting it up! The noise did not bother them at all; in fact they really wanted to see what it was doing when it was running. Now the litter is cleaned every single time they finish without mixing their business throughout all the litter, and the cats themselves are fresher than with a regular litter box, no matter how many times each day it is cleaned.
Now when I travel for a week, I have the pet sitter come only once to change the litter-robot liner and make sure the food and water dispensers are filled and clean. Cha-Ching!
Thank you Litter-Robot!

I just purchased my second Litter-Robot, and couldn’t be happier! My husband and I bought a vacation home, and I decided to go "budget" on the litter box there. It lasted about 3 weeks, and I realized I wouldn’t survive without a Litter-Robot.
I placed my order, along with additional filters. The people at Litter-Robot researched my name, realized I was a return customer, and called me on a Sunday evening to offer me a discount!! What other company has that kind of service?!?
I thought the first unit I bought was terrific, but the new version is even better! Never thought it could be improved, but they did it.
I wish you sold Litter-Robot t-shirts! I’d wear it proudly, letting everyone know what an awesome product it is, backed by an awesome company!
Thank you!
Joyce
PS: My sister lives in an in-law apartment downstairs from us. Her cats STILL sneak upstairs to use the Litter-Robot over her LitterMaid. Even they know quality!

I’ve never actually written a review or any testimonial before this, but I’ve just been so pleased I had to tell you about it.
You see, my wife is pregnant and her doctor made it clear that she could no longer clean out the litter box. Well, her cat is a bit old and tired, often not even covering her mess. Worse yet, we live in a fairly small apartment and if that "mess" isn’t cleaned up ASAP, it can really make your eyes water!
Since I’m at work all day, she’s left at home, pregnant and with a rather active 2yr old. A toxic mess sitting in the litter wasn’t appreciated.
That litter robot sure wasn’t cheap, but wow. I’ve bought a lot of junk in an attempt to save time, but this is the first which has literally changed our lives. Seriously, the ability to clean up after an old cat with only a 7 minute wait is simply wonderful.
The thing is a rock. There isn’t a single thing that it misses. I wipe it down with Windex once and a while, but it keeps itself pretty clean and – believe it or not – odor free, even if I only empty the drawer once a week (about a 1 minute job).
Even better, that little drawer uses generic trash bags. No specialty items, no hidden costs, just solid product.
So, to anyone out there who actually has $300+ to spend on one of these things, but isn’t sure if it is all that they say it is, just do it. Seriously, once you get your cat using it (it took my 16yr old 2 days), you will love it. You’ll think about how wonderful it is. You’ll brag about it to your friends. Hell, I’m about to put a picture of it on my desk next to my kids!
Thanks again,
-Dan

We have had the Litter Robot for two weeks now and are very pleased with it. More important, our two cats are pleased with it – especially our one very fussy princess. We have nicknamed the Litter Robot her "Poop Palace". Before the Litter Robot, we had a SmartScoop and a Littermaid. They both required manual scooping several times a day to get the waste the automatic rakes missed or when the rakes frequently jammed on waste stuck to the bottom of the pans. After adjusting the sensor switch per the instruction manual, the Litter Robot has operated flawlessly not requiring any attention except removing the waste bag and adding litter once a week.
Since like me my seven year old Grandson likes mechanical things, I showed the operation of the Litter Robot to him. He was quite impressed. He brought his five year old sister to it to show her. Shortly, I heard "Grandpa, it stopped!” I walked in to see that it stopped in the middle of the cycle. I asked" Did you press down on the step in front?" He nodded. I explained that the globe stops turning if a cat steps on the step. "Why does it do that?" he asked. "Because if it didn’t stop, the cat would be tumbled inside" After a few seconds, his eyes lit up, he exclaimed "That’s funny!" and he, his sister and I laughed. We then all washed our hands.
Thanks for a well designed, well made product.

I have been looking to buy the Litter Robot for well over a year, I was worried my son’s two cats might be too large for it.
I ended ordering one for a Christmas present for the cats. I just received it and set it right up, I left it unplugged for a few hours and watched them, Bubby the one I was worried about, walked right in and did his business, Then Griffen followed, I could not be happier.
Now my Son will have less work, and the Boys will have a clean litter box, These are my Grandcat’s after all.
Shipping was super fast, and customer service was awesome.
Thanks,
Sandy

Here’s my big cat, Fiona, proving that even large size ladies can use the box easily. The others love it, too.

I absolutely love your product. I’ve had it for 2.5 years, and it’s absolutely great. I use the crystals because I can’t stand the tracking mess clumping litter causes, but still no odor, no mess. You need to get this into retail outlets!
Thanks!

We bought 3 of these units about 4-5 weeks ago, 2 for my daughter and one for us; we have 3 cats each and do agree this is the best invention in cat maintenance in the world. We still do not have 100% participation but still have hopes of becoming totally Robot dependant in the near future.
I suggest if you purchase one that you go to Lowes Home Improvement or Home Depot and get a plastic washing machine pan that measures 30” X 30”, it helps to contain any litter that may come off their feet, and this is a minimal cost of about $30.00 and aids in housekeeping.
If we do finally become 100% Robot dependant this will be one of the greatest things in 37 years of married life.
Thanks,
CSW

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this product. I’m amazed at the level of refinement, the ease of use and the usefulness of The Litter Robot. A great company and a great product. In this day and age, you stand out for all the right reasons.
Thank you!

We bought our Litter Robot several years ago and are now looking into a second, our three cats use it regularly and the easy of maintenance has been wonderful. No more daily scooping, no more overpowering odors, best thing since clumping cat litter. Thank you!

Just wanted to let you know. After receiving this automated email from you, I am happy to say we LOVE our Litter Robot. We were probably one of your first (if not the first) customers. We have only had to service it once (in how many years???) It works and I went through two pregnancies without scooping cat waste. My husband travels out of the country for days or a week at a time, and he can still be the man and empty the receptacle if he wishes (actually, I don’t mind). And now with all the concern about the environment and waste, I am glad to contribute less plastic garbage and use less cat litter.
Everyone we know thinks the Litter Robot is great, or they don’t even know about it (and that’s the best!) I just wish we knew more cat owners to pass the good news onto, if we do, we will definitely recommend your fantastic product. Thanks for all the trouble free years of cat waste management!!
Fondly,
Trish

I have 2 chubby cats who are insanely picky about their litter box. I also live in a one bedroom apt that has zero space for a litter box. Until I found the robot I had the old litter box concealed in a small dog crate covered in a sheet with a cozy pillow on top. I would have to take it all apart every other day to clean it completely as well as scoop 2x a day just to keep my girl kitty happy! Well, right after I put the robot together one cat sniffed around then immediately jumped in. About 3 minutes passed and the other cat came in the room and saw it. She jumped in as well! They both walked away like nothing was new! No more smelly box or worse! Dirty cat paws walking around! Thanks so much!!!

We have two cats and we struggled with the litter pan situation. For one we were having to clean it very often and our male cat would go on the floor unless the little pan was sparkling clean. We tried other electric/mechanical litter pans but they did a terrible job of actually cleaning the litter and would break after a short period. We finally found the Litter-Robot and took the chance. We could not be happier.
We have now had the Litter-Robot for 5 year as of Thanksgiving and it’s still chugging along. We will not hesitate to buy a new one when this one finally gives up. We have saved so much in time and I believe it has paid for itself with the money we have saved on litter over the years as it does such an efficient job on sifting. We highly recommend this for anyone with cats!

I bought my Litter-Robot almost 1 year ago, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT.
There is NO smell, and there’s virtually no mess at all. My 2 cats took to it immediately, although I did have to run it manually the first few days as the motor scared my older cat at first. My younger cat thought it was "Kitty TV" when he first watched it go around. He was totally fascinated with it. So much so, that he kept stepping on the entry step to watch it spin, then got upset when it shut off.
I had been using 8 gallon trash bags in the drawer, but had to roll down the tops, and stretch them, to get them to fit the drawer properly. I came across some old cat pan liners, and found that they fit the drawer perfectly!
I highly recommend the Litter-Robot to who has kitties. I know that the price is kind of scary, but BELIEVE ME, it’s worth every penny. I am using less litter than ever before and I can wait 1 week before emptying the drawer. I think it’s the best investment I ever made, and the cats really like it too.

Just wanted you to know that we had our litter robot since 2006 and it is still working till now. Our 2 Siamese cats love it more than anything and I tell you they are huge cats. One quick tip though (which is not found in the troubleshooting tips in the manual)–don’t ever mess or even touch the sensors at base of the robot. If ever you see the lights blinking be it red or yellow and the robot stopped rotating–disconnect the main power then lift the top globe and clean litter sediments from around its base—then plug the power back on. It just means that there are sediments or litter particles near the base that is making the wire sensors in the base less sensitive. Voila it will go back to life again!!:) Hope this helps.
Keep up the great work.Appreciate your customer service–at least there’s some real homo sapiens that you can talk to:) Merry Christmas!
Sincerely,
Karina

This machine is worth every penny! My sister recommended the litter robot to me last year but I had to think about it a while before I got it. It being such a big purchase. But after four years of scooping litter the manual way and with another kitty’s litter to deal with, I decided that if it worked for a few years at least, it would be worth the money. Well, I’ve had it a few months now and already it’s worth every penny. Not only do I no longer have to deal with scooping litter every day, which is a beautiful thing, but their customer service is magnificent!
I had a slight problem with my unit that I kept putting off calling them about but when I did call, I wish I had called sooner. Not only did Leslie call me back the minute after I left a message, but she sent me the replacement part the next day (with an email telling me it had been shipped), and I received it just a few days after. I was so so happy because she made it so easy for me. This is a wonderful product from a wonderful company and I would recommend it to anyone who has cats.

I wanted to praise you for the invention of the Litter Robot 2. I purchased mine a few months ago. I was amazed at how easy I was able to assemble it as I am not a assembling type of woman. My husband even came in to see if I needed help, which I proudly said no, I have it under control.
I am amazed at the difference in no odor, less litter usage and such a easy cleanup everyday. I now have 5 cats now and have never been happier! I still use one plain pan for our old girl who refuses to use it, but placed them side by side. Now.. one question.. WHEN are you going to make one for dogs? I will be your first customer! I would love to also request an outdoor version for dogs as well.
Great job and great product. I am recommending it to everyone!
Blessings,

I, too, was daunted by the high price tag. But you know what? I figured with a 60 day guarantee, I couldn’t go wrong. How right I was! My cat began using the litter robot on day 1 and I have never had any problems.
Thank you for this amazing product!

I was about to have knee surgery and wasn’t sure how I would clean out my litter box. I asked several friends how their automatic litter boxes worked and most said “ok, but not great” and then several just broke. So I searched to find the “perfect” one and I ordered the Litter Robot to try it. I have absolutely found the best automatic litter box ever! It works great. Although my cat took a day to deliberate on the new thing that took the place of his old box, he finally tried it and now loves it (he still studies it when it starts the cycle) but talk about a relief during my recovery period. I have found something that has changed my life and will never be without one.
Thanks litter robot!

I used littermaid boxes for years and thought they were great; after all, they are pretty cool compared to the manual alternative. However, I switched to a litter robot after my last littermaid died.
I’ve been using the litter robot for over a year with a pair of 15 pound cats. The cats seem to like it a lot. I left the old box out at first in case they were freaked out by the new contraption but they preferred the litter robot immediately. It holds a week worth of clumps and there is almost no wasted loose litter in the bin.
I wondered if the litter robot would be quiet. It makes about as much noise as my old box did when it was brand new and not under any sort of stress. The difference is that the litter robot sounds the same every time – there’s never any straining, retrying, popping, etc. Since I don’t have to worry about whether it’s going to get stuck or anything, it doesn’t really register even if I do hear it.
The litter robot stays clean! I don’t clean the robot at all. I just replace the trash bags and sweep up whatever loose litter the cats track out of it.
It’s amazing to think how much noise, mess, and waste I was used to putting up with from the littermaid. I had no idea that anything on the market would work this well. All in all, I couldn’t be happier with the litter robot.

Ten months and couldn’t be more delighted. We purchased our litter robot in December, 2007. It was a reconditioned unit and there was a problem as it spewed litter on the floor. I called and the company took it back immediately and sent me another one.
It is magical. Everything people say is true–lack of smell, ease of cleaning, reliability, much less cost for cat litter. It does pay for itself. The cats adore it. I would love to know the history of how this was developed and what kinds of models it went through at the start. This is a winner and I think a litter robot for another floor is in our future.

It’s coming up on one year since we have owned the LRII and my cats as well as us humans could not be happier!! What a great piece of technology.
1. Your customer service rates right up there with one of the large “warehouses”. You REALLY DO CARE about your customers. We had a circuit board problem and a motor problem which is a rare case and in the end the circuit board was a problem on of our cats created. Your reps were friendly and very knowledgeable. You actually do what your web site says you do. I received replacement parts within days to rectify the problem and your rep advised me on how to prevent this problem from happening. This happened 7 months ago and we have had no more issues.
2. We had two cats to begin with and 3 weeks ago decided to adopt a 10 week old kitten. Normally we stick to adult cats but with the LRII we decided the maintenance and training would be much easier so we went with a young one.
His first 2.5 weeks here, we put down a litter box (ARGHHHHH) about 1 foot from the opening of the LRII. The older cats were pleased as they had their choice now of two potty rooms of which they took full advantage. Every time the kitten used the litter box, we would scoop and toss the ehhhhh, goods, into the LRII and then turn it on to cycle. He loved watching us scoop and toss but was not curious enough to step into the LRII (yet).
Of course his curiosity got the best of him and he finally stepped in to check out what we have tossed in. After a couple of days he ventured in (we kept it turned off as he was only 3 lbs 15 ozs). After 8 days he actually deposited in the LRII and when he jumped out we waited about 10 minutes and turned it on. On the 12th day he was able to trigger the LRII so with an all day monitoring situation on our part, we took away the litter box and made sure he was triggering the LRII on a constant basis and we would check in the event he went back in, that the timer was starting over (boy if it ran with him in there a whole new training period would start). That was 3 days ago and not one mistake has happened. We are so happy that the litter box is done with. It’s like NO MORE DIAPERS.
The LRII is worth every dime.
Thanks for your great service and a SUPER product. Tell the folks this is not an oversell. This machine REALLY WORKS. HONEST. Both you and your cats will be happy. Cats love a clean potty room.

First off I would like to share what a wonderful invention this is! It should seem like a silly extravagance, but for a working, traveling couple…it really isn’t. There are so many positives to owning this machine, from the lack of smell in my house, to using less litter than ever before, from the shear automation of a necessary, but yucky task! But the funniest sidebar comment to this is that sometimes it turns into an amusement for the cats.
Not only do they use it (and we had no problems getting them adjusted to it!) but then afterwards they will sit and stare as it tumbles around. Sometimes they are so curious, they step back on it to look inside to see just what is going on. There’s been a couple of times we’ve had to reset the darn thing because we watched them going back to watch it several times during a cycle. It reminds me of someone sitting and watching the dryer go around! We get a kick out of watching them sit there and watching it spin around. You would think they’d get used to it….but they still are excited by it.
This is a great product and thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Dr. Jeanne

I just wanted to say how much I LOVE this product. Who knew you could feel so passionate about a litter box??? The $300 investment has paid for itself ten times over.
I purchased the Litter-Robot when I had to start traveling frequently for work. I didn’t want to have to burden my fiancé with scooping the box daily so we took the advice from a friend and fellow cat owner and purchased the litter robot. My cats (I have two) took to it immediately and have used it ever since. That was 18 months ago.
We appreciate that it is virtually maintenance free and odor free. Thanks for inventing the Litter Robot…now could you work on building a vacuum cleaner?

Thank you for a GREAT product, the Litter Robot more than meets my expectations, and my cat’s needs. It was the 3rd brand I researched but the only one that I seriously considered, based on the customer reviews. Thought the price was a bit high for my fixed income, but I called L-R customer service to discuss it, talked to a wonderful lady there who assured me of the quality and the guarantee, and I purchased a reconditioned unit over the phone at the discounted price. It was completely clean when it arrived, easy to set up, and it works perfectly. I honestly think that it’s worth every penny I paid, and then some! I’m disabled and have a tendency to forget to scoop litter, so it’s convenient for me, keeps my cat’s box clean and makes both of us happy, which is priceless!
Some tips: When I plugged it in I cycled it with the dogs and cat in the room so they’d get used to it. Filled it with Cat Attract scoopable litter, but the cat ignored it initially, asking to go out with the dogs instead for the first day. I didn’t give him another box to use, but on the second day I bought a fresh box of catnip and sprinkled a bit on the step, a bit more on the lip, and a lot on the litter inside of the unit. An hour or so later I heard an unfamiliar noise, which was the Litter Robot cycling! This is a big 13 pound cat, but he fits in the box and doesn’t kick litter out. I have a throw rug in front of it to catch any that scatters, but there isn’t much. Recycled plastic store bags are fine in the bin. It sits in my living room and there’s absolutely NO ODOR and very little mess, it works really well. This is a great product and I highly recommend it. Thanks again!

I would like to thank all of your personnel for the quick repair service that I received from you company. Also it’s really great to talk to people who a polite and really try and help with your problem. The litter robot is 1000 times better than the littermaid that it replaced.
Thanks again,

October 08, 2008
We love the litter robot! We have had the litter robot for about 6 months and love it! We recommend it to all our friends with cats. We used to have a Littermaid, that we have had to replace at least once a year and it was just too messy.
The Litter Robot is so easy to maintain, we empty the drawer about once a week and we’ve only had to do a deep clean once since we’ve had it. It would be nice if it had some type of ramp or something to help catch the loose litter from the cats’ paws, but you can’t have everything.
We have 2 cats and they had no problems getting used to it. We have used different cat litter with it, usually whatever is on sale, although we would not recommend Fresh Step, that was the reason for the deep clean.
Don’t know what we would have done without the Litter Robot!!! It’s made life so much easier!!
October 06, 2008
Let’s be honest. No one enjoys cleaning a litter box. We had several other litter boxes, automatic and DIY. My partner didn’t understand the idea that a cat will poop and pee everyday and if it’s not scooped it smells. I was always cleaning the box. I can’t stand the smell of cat pee.
We have two cats in a one bedroom Manhattan apartment (the size of most Americans living rooms). We really had no space for a cat litter box better yet the Litter Robot. We keep it in the bathtub. We have to move it in and out every day but it is so worth it. When I come home I smell NOTHING and don’t have to do scoop duty. I tell all my clients it’s worth EVERY penny. It actually saves money. You only have to change the bag once every 7-10 days (two large cats). We buy litter once a month, if that.
Now if you can invent an automatic Litter Bag Robot. A machine that will carry out my dirty litter and maybe grab and do my laundry at the same time!
Thank you,
Bobby

I normally do not write testimonials for products however, Litter Robot is by far the best product for automatic litter scooping I have ever bought. I had a Litter Maid Deluxe, after spending 200 dollars on it I was pretty disappointed. For one I always felt filthy after changing it and at 13 dollars for 12 plastic containers it got expensive fast. The Litter Robot at 300 dollars was a little more expensive but really saves money in the long run. My cat whom is fairly old, got use to the Litter Robot immediately (I was worried). The litter Robot truly is self cleaning and works as advertised. I am ecstatic with my purchase. I am here to tell you that nobody can go wrong by purchasing your product.
Thank You Litter Robot.

I have never been a cat person–always just dogs. I am allergic to cats and I hate walking into a house and instantly knowing that cats live there…just from the smell. I vowed that if I ever had a cat, my house was NOT going to smell like a litter box. Well, in the last year, I was "adopted" by not one, but two (irresistible!) cats. An older one from a feral colony (he was a misfit out there and so sweet–the other kitties picked on him and wouldn’t let him eat) and a beautiful little princess kitty who wandered up out of the woods.
After smelling evidence of cats in my home recently, I set about searching for a remedy. Research on line brought the Litter Robot to my attention, and I instantly ordered one. I placed the LR beside the existing box and left it for several days. The younger kitty, Stella, took to it before we even moved the old box away from its spot along side the LR. The older cat, Purrkins, used the old box until we took it away and I was a little concerned that he wasn’t going to use
the LR. My 12 year old son solved this…not sure this would work for everyone, but the method fit for us. My son often picks up this cat and carries him around, so, he picked the cat up and took him to the LR and knelt down making his thigh like a plank to walk. He put the cat on his leg aiming into the opening. The cat looked, sniffed and then walked right in.
This first time, he did go without turning around, so it was really close to the doorway of the LR and just barely "in" the globe. But so far we haven’t had any "misses" to clean up. Now the cats just go in and out conducting "business" as usual. Neither cat seems to know nor care that the LR moves or makes noise…they just use it happily.
When it arrived and I set it up, my husband asked me how much it cost and I wouldn’t tell him. I told him I figured that since I was the only one who scooped, and I had paid for the LR, I didn’t have to answer the question! But we definitely think it’s worth the cost now. No one can smell that we have cats and I no longer have the daily unpleasantness of scooping! Plus, I confess I love a great gadget…I love to show friends & family what a cool and ingenuous machine the LR is…and actually have at least one friend who is planning to get one. The LR makes living with the cats almost purrrrfect….now if I could just fix my allergies…. !!!

I first heard about the litter-robot on the Clark Howard radio show in 2000. If Clark thought it was a good deal I had to look in to it. At the time we had 3 indoor cats. What a lifesaver it has been for us. As we have added new cats to our family over the years, we have not had one of them refuse to use it. Our litter-robot has finally kicked the bucket. We did not hesitate to order another one.
Thank you so much for this product.

I’ve owned 3 litter maid automated boxes and although the work "ok", they constantly jam, break, and require daily scooping. I finally purchased a Litter Robot after hearing many good things about the unit and I couldn’t be more pleased. No more freeing jammed litter rakes or daily scooping required! My cats love it now, although they wouldn’t use it until I followed every step in the user manual. So don’t be in a hurry when you get it. Let your cat decide when it’s time, the manual has great advice on this topic and shouldn’t be ignored.
Thanks!

We bought one of these robots — largely as a result of the testimonials – over a year ago. It’s more than lived up to our expectations. If you can afford it – get it. It’s great.

I just wanted to say that this product has stood the test. I purchased my litter-robot over 5 YEARS ago and it still works GREAT! I have tried every litter box, including other automated product but this amazing invention is by far the best.
I have seen a lot of reviews about other automated litter products that fail after a year or two but not the litter-robot. And if you have any problems, customer service will help. I had a problem with the sensor once and it wasn’t rotating all the way to base position. I shipped the base to them and they fixed it and shipped it back promptly.
So for those wondering if it’s worth the $ – YES! It’s been five years and it doesn’t have any problems. You will save a ton of money on cat litter. I lost the plug to my litter-robot during a move and used a regular litter box for a few months. It was messy and I wasted so much cat litter. I got a new plug and we are in business again.
I do have a bit of advice as a long time user. You need to check the drawer and figure out how often you need to change it before it gets full. Usually every 2 to 3 days is good. If it gets too full and you pull the drawer out you will get litter in the bottom of the drawer and you will have some clean up. If that does happen, (which it has for me a few times when I have gotten lazy), I use those household cleaning wipes to clean the base.
Thanks Litter-Robot!

After having several Littermaid products and at Petmate product that both broke within a year’s time, I was to the point of not going for an automatic litter box anymore as I had spent a lot of money on these products and felt they were never what I thought they should be, getting dirty easily, never truly removing the waste, and breaking so quickly. I saw this device and was VERY skeptical, spending the money on a device that might do the same things that the previous machines did, but the 18 month guarantee swayed me to buy it, now I just wish I would have seen this earlier! Never will buy a different machine again!
THANKS!!!!

Having bought 4 litter maids in 5 years, I decided to do some research before I bought another one when the last one broke. I read all of the testimonials for this product online and watched the video. I have 2 cats that are "indoors only" and never go outside. This is, without a doubt, worth every penny! There is no smell and litter lasts much longer than with the other litter boxes. You also don’t need to buy anything special for this litter box. It uses medium size garbage bags that can be purchased in any super market! I have nosey cats so they had no problem using their new litter box. I would recommend this product to everyone who owns cats. It will pay for itself over and over!!

I just want to thank you for the best invention ever! My Litter Robot II is the best purchase I have ever made. Not only do I not have to scoop litter any more (with 3 cats), but I also save money on buying cat litter because it reduces cat litter waste. I use an average of 1/2 as much cat litter as I used to with my previous litter box. I love this machine! Thank you! Thank you!

Just a note of thanks to the folks at Litter-Robot. I recently needed some help with our unit and the support was fantastic. It is hard to find good service in these times, but Litter-Robot and staff have surpassed my expectations.
Needless to say our Litter-Robot unit is now working fine.
Thanks again,

I took a large cardbord box and placed it over my litter box cutting circular hole 9 by 6 inches so my cats were used to this before I recieved my new litterbox..they are allready taking up this box alltho they showed a curious caution at first.
I used a flushable liter and dump the tray twice a day to aviod toliet jam. The litter robot works nice and is the best liter box I’ve seen!! It is worth the cost!!

I have worked in the Veterinary industry for 5 years now. I was looking for a litter box product that could stand up to the wear and tear that 4 full grown cats can cause, but I was also looking for something they would enjoy. I didn’t want to feel like the lazy pet owner. You can tell the cats are much happier. They come out of the litter box and stand straight up, almost like they are proud. I am sooo happy for my litter robot. My cats LOVE it. I have had it for 1 year now and it is just as good as the day I bought it.
There are two products in the world that every cat needs to have, they are a Drink well fountain and a Litter Robot! Don’t waist your money on all the other litter boxes, they break down, become impossible to clean and can scare or injure your pets. I have seen to many people upset with what they bought, but now I can recommend something and I do every time!
THANKS LITTER ROBOT!!!!

Too funny…….just as I was finishing typing a new note to you guys asking for shipping status (I’ve been VERY anxious to get my new Litter Robot-the one I bought in 2003 stopped working)….the door bell rang and there was it was!
I had it up and working in less than 15 minutes! I even moved it to another location in the house and my cats still immediately used it and haven’t looked for it in the old spot once!
I recommend this product to anyone I know with a cat or are thinking about getting a cat. My aunt wants a kitten but she worried her short trips away from home would be a problem with a regular litter box. She then mentioned that maybe one of those ‘automatic’ ones would be good. Well, I immediately (and with much passion) said….No, don’t get one of those Litter Maid things, I told her the absolute HORROR story of my experience with that product. I then started to bestow on her all the WONDERS of the Litter Robot. She sounded amazed, and I know IF she finally decides on getting a kitten, she’ll be calling me and asking my help in ordering your wonderful product.
The one I originally had was purchased in Jan 2003. I have two cats and it got a lot of use. I think 5 years of perfect service is more than any customer can ask for in a mechanical product of this nature. I was convinced that the product was perfect and could not be improved upon. But after receiving my NEW, upgraded version of the Litter Robot, I must commend your development team for the changes that have been made. It is even MORE perfect! (My only suggestion would be to add a larger variety of colors for some of us ‘creative’ Litter Robot lovers!)
Thanks again!

We actually purchased ours about two years ago after trying many different litter box options. This has been the most wonderful invention ever! My cat never had any problem getting used to it, clean up is very easy and we don’t have to smell a stinky litter box. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a better litter box option!

I have just installed the Litter-Robot and it so efficient. My 4 cats took to it right away with no problems. I am very pleased at its performance. I just threw away its predecessor which was driving us all mad. I won’t mention the name but it was the one with the rake which stalled almost every time it passed through and never really worked right. Thanks so much to Litter-Robot!

What a joy to have in the house! No longer is there a cat odor. LOVE IT, just love it. My girls are so funny. One will go and stand front legged on the ledge and look inside. The other one likes to watch it do the round a round thing. I could not be any happier.

We have an exceptionally curious cat, so instead of following any of your directions, we set up the litter robot in a new location (where we wanted the cats to go instead of the old litter box place), put litter in it, and waited.
It took her about fifteen minutes to decide she trusted it, and an hour to use it. The first time it activated, she watched it nervously and jumped whenever it moved. The next time, she walked up, stepped on the step, and when it next moved she ran backwards about three feet. By the end of the first day, she was going over and stepping on it a few times every so often to make it do the funny thing again. She actually managed to put it into blinking-red-light mode.
By day two, we had two cats using it happily and without complaint. They love it. We do too.

After much research of automatic litter boxes, I decided on the Litter Robot. Glad I did. I have a 16 year old, very finicky cat and she is doing just fine. She didn’t take to it right away, but with some work after a week or so, she started using it. I had serious doubts about her using it, but I thought – what the heck – I’m only out the return shipping if she won’t use it, so we decided to give it a try. And I’m glad I did.
Here is what we did. When we first put it together, she snooped all around it – of course – something new – and then she just went away. Then we plugged it in and let it do it’s thing – well – she walked back into the room before the cycle finished and that freaked her out – big mistake. We were then thinking that she’ll never come near it again. So, we left it unplugged and put her old box right in front of this one on the floor for a few days – she used the old box as usual. Then we elevated the old box to the same height of the bottom of the entrance hole of the Litter Robot – so when she was in her old box, she could see into the new box. The "shelf/step" of the litter robot was still separating the two. After a couple of days we moved her old box on top of the step/shelf so that it was right up against the entry hole of the LR. Left it like that for a few days. All along this time, we were still cleaning out the old litter box. After a few days of this, we started to let the old box get dirty. It got pretty nasty – to the point that she was just peeing in it and not even trying to cover it up. We also got up everything that she might pee on: laundry covered up carpet, etc. (we don’t have much carpet, so that wasn’t a problem.). We really didn’t leave her any options on where else to go to the bathroom. After the old box got really dirty, we took the old box away and she started using the LR – YAY!!!!! But……she wasn’t going in far enough because some of the pee was getting on the outside of the box.
I emailed the LR people and here is their suggestion. Tape a quarter to the end of a string. Tape the string to the top of the entry hole and let it hang down across the opening. When she goes in, the quarter will tickle her rear end and she will scoot up further. Well, it worked!
She hasn’t peed outside the box any more. And, I’ve taken the quarter off and it still works. Now….you need to understand that I am plugging the box in manually once in the morning and once at night to let it run. I am not letting it run automatically yet. I’m going to go about another week before I let it run automatically and hope that it won’t freak her out. But, hey, even if I have to plug it in 2 times a day, I’m still not scooping poop and it’s worth it. I’ve emptied the bag only once a week. I love it and highly recommend it.

I submitted a testimonial months ago when the LRII was new to my home.
After many, MANY uses (two cats) I have come to the final conclusion.
YOUR PRODUCT IS THE BEST!!!!
Customer Service: We had a problem with the drum not turning all the way about 2 months into use of the LRII. We called and a new circuit board was shipped to us within days. It turned out not to be the circuit board but the motor had a "hiccup". We called once again and a new base was shipped to us in less than five days.
Your customer service is friendly, non-confrontational and the staff has excellent product knowledge. You REALLY DO stick to your commitment of great service and a warranty that is unheard of in today’s market.
Waste: My final test of your product was from June 4, 2008 thorough July 6, 2008. We have two Siamese that use the heck out of the LRII. I have never had cats that use a litter box so often. They love the cleanliness. Here is the kicker. Through the dates listed above we have used 30 pounds of clumping litter. We purchase our litter at a warehouse for $6.79 for 30 lbs. This equates to 0.226 cents a day plus the cheapest bags we can find at the same warehouse. Total costs for one month? $7.09 + electricity and the cost of the LRII (which really pays for it self in 3 months if your time is worth anything). We figure it saves us 10 minutes a day and no back pain from bending over 4-5 times a day.
We also tested how often we need to change the bags. We can go 6 days without a change but we have settled on 5 days. This cycle keeps it from being topped off. We can enjoy our yearly trip for our family reunion without concern of a litter-box. It is so nice having our cat sitter drop by the house and she does not have to worry about cleaning the litter box. It comes down to peace of mind.
Cleaning: The 60-90 day total cleaning that is recommended for the LRII is a breeze. In the winter we rinse the drum and drawer in the shower, put a fan in front of the drum and in 25 minutes it is totally dry. Summer? Just bring it outdoors and hose it down gently. Drying time is about the same.
Thank you for the superior customer service and an outstanding product.
We will be ordering one or two more for family members at Christmas.

I’ve had my Litter Robot for well over a year, and wouldn’t dream of having a cat without one!! Honestly, I initially hid the cost from my husband. Once he realized what a godsend it was, he had no complaints! My sister lives in my in-law apartment downstairs. She has a Litter Maid system, but even her cats sneak upstairs to use my Litter Robot! The Litter Maid forks are always a pain to clean. The Litter Robot is always fresh and clean. It’s worth every penny!!

We have owned our Litter-Robot for about 14 months now and L O V E IT!!! At first we had a very small issue getting our cat to turn around in the unit, but after calling the 800# and learning of the trick using a quarter, we were saved. We now show & tell to all our friends who have or are thinking of adopting a cat about this amazing product. So far, everyone who has purchased one, shares with us how much they love their Litter-Robot. Only thing I would have done different is ordered it in Black as the Beige unit tends to show more dirt, but we still love it.
If you don’t have one, you sure don’t know what you’re missing!!!

I’ve had the Litter Robot about 6 weeks and wish I had bought this appliance in the first place. My previous automatic box lasted about two years before quitting. I decided to give Litter Robot a try and am not the least bit sorry even though it’s more expensive. The added cost is well worth the investment and has taken the most complained about problem of having a cat and dumped it in a tidy pile.
My cat was a bit frightened of the new box and sat watching it the first day it arrived. I gave up watching him late that night, left it unplugged, and the next morning it was obvious he had decided to give it a try. Within a few days he was getting in and out as if he had been using it all of his 13 years.
Clean up is so much easier and so is not having to order all those special fitted plastic bags. Now I can buy any good clumping litter instead of having to pay for only "premium" litter. There is absolutely no cat box odor in my apartment. I have a clean, happy kitty and he has a very satisfied owner.

I purchased my litter-robot as a Christmas present for my cats and myself. I am a cash and carry kind of person. I almost bought another automatic litter box from the pet store for the sake of sheer convenience, until I read the customer testimonials. There was not one bad review. So I stepped out of character and ordered a product online. It was one of the best purchases I have made.
I have three cats of varying ages. The older two took to the litter box right away. They loved having deep fresh litter to use every time they had to go. My youngest cat was afraid of the litter-robot at first. It took me about three days to train him. The issue was the fact that the litter robot was covered. So I took the old litter pan and dug out the cover from the garage. I cleaned it out well and set the cover just on the very edge of the litter pan. I put treats in the bottom of the pan to entice him to go inside. I put another uncovered litter box next to the litter-robot. Each day when we "potty trained" I would move the lid further up on the clean litter pan. By the third day I replaced his old open litter pan with the closed one. He tried it one time, saw the nice deep clean litter in the litter-robot and chose it over the other.
With three cats it is necessary to empty the waste drawer about twice a week. If you don’t do that, waste tends to catch on the globe and scrape off on the floor beside it.
I am very happy with the litter robot. I know 300.00+ dollars is a lot to spend on a cat box. When you consider how much time you save by not having to scoop out clumps every day and constantly change litter, the price seems almost minimal. It also makes your cats happy too. There is an added bonus of coming into the house after a long day and not be greeted by the smell of the litter box.
My sincere thanks to the creators of this product!

I have numerous (won’t tell you how many) cats as well as 4 dogs. The litter robot is the best ever litter box. I have had numerous littermaids and now that I have found the litter robot,I will never go back!!!.
The litter robot keeps the smell down in the house and is easy to clean up,. One cat even insists on sleeping in one!!! I have three so far and also three old littermaids. I plan to replace the littermaids with the litter robot as soon as possible.
I have been telling friends and my husband has even told his clients who have cats about it. The only problem is it is not suitable for ex-large cats, so I have to keep one of the old boxes. This product is great!!!!

Your mystery box arrived last Thursday to gales of sniffing, inspection, and general distance by my four boys (ages 12-17). Then we went through the bored period. I went into high gear with a large pair of nose and ear plugs.
The set-up of the Litter Robot was a breeze.
- Last litter box change executed.
- Rubbed the front of the Litter-Robot opening with vintage catnip and left periodic pieces of kitty salmon treats on the entrance ledge.
- Ran the Litter Robot manually for three days during which, I believe, only one nosy boy actually investigated; by now the traditional litter box was approaching the quality of ripe French cheese!
- The boys urged a change of the tradition litter box every time I went into the bath room, their requests fell on deaf ears (I changed my nose plug); each time they were tempted with treats, and ran a cycle of the Litter Robot, which they gradually totally ignored.
Thursday, a week later, painful withdrawal:
- Morning, set the Litter Robot on automatic and placed a garbage bag on the old litter box (if looks could turn to stone…..), and refreshed the catnip rub and mystery treats on the ledge.
- Several times during the day, that wonderful groaning sound of a cleaning cycle reached my ears, upon bathroom inspection, no feline had tried to use the plastic covered box, nor the tub!
- Thursday evening I pulled the drawstrings on the bag covering the old relic litter box.
Friday Morning I gleefully disposed of the old litter box.
It was a long week, but the end result is WONDERFUL. The ‘Arm & Hammer Multicat Litter’ is (in my opinion) dustless, odorless, almost trackless, works wonderfully in the Litter Robot and greatly accepted by the resident crew.
My thanks to your wonderful staff, rapid delivery, and especially, a terrific product!

Hi!
I rescued two kittens last week from the humane society. In deciding to get them, I vowed to get an automatic cat box. We had a wonderful cat for 19 years, who in his later years proceeded to wet everywhere! Neither my husband nor I wanted to clean that box and in the interim I had multiple back surgeries which led to him doing it! Not a good thing… I told him about some automatic cat boxes and he agreed, stipulating it was my responsibility this time!
We ended up getting two adorable kittens and I had bought the Purrfect cat box. I came home, re read some reviews on the internet, did not even open it, and returned it the next day. I ordered the litter-robot the same day. I used the payment plan, which helped a lot. The kitties had colds so I took them home and put them in a spare bedroom I had fixed up for them. The day after the Litter-Robot came. They took to it immediately! I put some of their stuff in it and they recognized what they needed to do right away. I ran an air purifier tower in the room as soon as I got them so the noise of the cat box did not bother them at all.
I have to wait till they grow a bit to make it automatic but each time I cycle it the male comes over to watch it. This was the best news for me. Things like this seldom go smoothly for me and this was a wonderful gift to be able to have them go and know what to do where and not be stressed in addition to a new home and cold.
Matter of fact whenever one does their thing in it they meow loudly for me to come and cycle it! I love it! I tell everyone about it. After four years on disability I think people believe I have been homebound a little too long to be so excited about a cat box!!! LOL but it truly is the best.
Thanks,
Anne,Crosby and Kaela the kittens

A thousand thank you’s for creating an ingenious product that took all of the unpleasantness of cat ownership away! Having recently become a cat family – two kittens adopted since December – we loved everything about our kittens except the litter box. Things were better when we bought a lovely white cabinet to hide the litter box, but still the twice daily cleaning, the smell, the great amounts of litter we were using (because our littlest kitty must have a pristine box before going!), were all becoming overwhelming and very unpleasant.
I decided to try an electric litter box, and searched for one on the web. Thankfully, the search directed me to Litter Robot instead. I ordered one immediately, anxiously awaited delivery, and last Thursday it arrived and we set it up. Within 24 hours of setup, both cats were using it, and now, four days into it, it’s made us tremendously happy.
We’re using less litter, thoroughly enjoying hearing the little whirring that means our cats are using it, and are pleased that our cats are always welcomed with fresh and clean litter to do their business. Thank you for this wonderful invention! I’m encouraging every cat owner I know to buy one, and my sister already has!
Thanks.

I would not have believed that you could make the Litter Robot even better, but the new seal and filter are fantastic. If we didn’t have a Litter Robot, we wouldn’t have cats — plain and simple. I couldn’t stand cat box duty, but now it’s simple, fast and only has to be done every few days. We can even go out-of-town for a few days and not have to worry about it!
I just love your product and recommend it to all the cat owners or potential owners I know.
THANK YOU!

Dear Litter Robot people,
This is my second order today. My first box lasted 3 and a half years. It died yesterday after being washed too many times with a hose.
I love that machine. It is my favorite cat item. Visitors never even know I have two cats until one of them jumps on a their lap. Your cat box is amazing. All my friends that have seen mine buy one. It is a cool San Diego trend. The urban cat. Well, mine have a yard but wait at the back door to get in to use their litter robot. Funny, they love it too.
Thanks for building something that is useful and ever innovative.

Well, we have had our LItter Robot II for nearly six months now, and it’s paid off! Still functions perfectly, our cats still love it, it’s easy to use, and we’ve saved lots of money on litter and receptacles. I’d recommend this product to anyone who has a cat, and I can testify it works just as well with multiple cats.

My last cat passed away and he loved the Litter Robot (well, I loved it and he used it). When I went and adopted a kitten he wanted nothing to do with it. The noise and the closed space really scared him.
What I did was I put a traditional litter box next to the Litter Robot and unplugged it. I let him use the regular litter box but never cleaned it. It got full and soon he started to explore the LR which of course was clean. Soon he started using the LR and I would cycle it when he wasn’t around. Then he started using the LR exclusively and would even sit and watch it cycle after he was done.
Now, a year later all is well and he uses it all the time. I only have to change the trash bag once a week, even longer if I have to. It really is a set it up and forget it product.

I tried tidy cat, fresh step and cat attract and the cat still would not use the litter box. I was about to give up when I went to kroger and bought the cedar fresh with cat attract in it made by ultra-pet. So I took it home and put it in the litter box and to my surprise- the cat used the box. Im am so happy and I’m not going to return the litter box.
Thanks,

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.
I spend months trying to train my young cat with the Litter Kwitter toilet training system. After a ton of time cleaning up after misfires using very expensive solution for cat urine, I decided to explore another option. I came across this product and line.
This is where I should have spend my time and money in the first place (actually, no time was involved in making this switch). The trial period was a big selling point for me so I took the leap. What did I have to lose? I am so glad a trial period was offered or I would have never spend that kind of money on a litter box and my home would still smell like a litter box.
I highly recommend this system and if it doesn’t work for your cat like it did for mine, simply return it. I am considering purchasing one for my cat loving mother for Christmas (some gift, huh…a litter box?? but she would love it)!!!

My wife and I recently purchased your product after getting tired of replacing our littermaid every year for the past two years at a $100.00 a pop. I didn’t even know your product existed until I researched online for something different.
I have to admit it was a little pricey for a pooper scooper but after watching several videos of it doing its thing online and reading a boatload of positive customer reviews I was sold especially with the 60 day money back guarantee and the 18 month warranty I figured to let the cats give it a try.
We have two cats ones a domestic and the other is a siamese. When I received it and got it together, Midnight our domestic cat couldn’t wait to get in it and do his business. Now Andy on the other hand was a little skittish at first and only wanted to pee in it and poop on the step going in to it. So I cut it off for a couple of days so he could get better aquatinted with it and, low and behold – it worked and he started pooping on the inside of it .
Now its on automatic and it works like a charm -as for as pooper scoopers go .All in all were pretty impressed it so for -money well spent!!!

Dear Litter Robot People:
We are thrilled with our robot and even more thrilled with your customer service. We had a problem 3 days ago and I called and left a message.
I really never expected a call back so quickly and was even more delighted that the person on the phone knew exactly what to do and even more, guessed the cause of the problem. Our parts arrived today and in 5 minutes were were up and running again.
Nowadays most companies don’t even return your call, let alone have someone who actually knows the product and how to solve the problem.
I congratulate you for running a superb business and making a well thought out product.
Sincerely,
Dan

Over three month ago we received our Robo. Not one glitch, not one hangup, not one malfunction. Two cats, we empty twice a week – though I think it could be emptied once – but the Boss sayeth twice.
Buddy our larger cat went into it immediately and both cats watched it like a TV for several days then lost interest when it would cycle. Abby preferred her old box for about two weeks, then she decided she too would use the new Magic Box. Now life is Grand and so easy.
We tried two other brands in the past, and they were always jamming up and you had to clean the rakes which would break the clumps apart. Robo does it perfect. I haven’t even cleaned the top section since we received it. but I don"t feel bad because it is not dirty in any way.
Thanks for a great product.

I have two Litter Robots and now I have just ordered my third unit after rescuing another cat. This is the most amazing litter box ever…!
What a wonderful invention.

Good morning,
I am soooooooooo happy with the litter robot. I can’t believe how well it works. It took our cats and kitten less then a week to get everyone to use it. I have one cat (which was a ferial) that loves to stand on the step and watch it go around.
For more than 20 years we always had ten to twelve cats at home and the same amount of little boxes which were a pain to keep clean. Everyone called our house cat central so if you found a lost kitty it came to our house. I just wish I knew about this litter robot earlier. Life would have been so easy thank you thank you for this great invention. I tell everyone who has a kitty they should send for one.

We have two cats in our house that use the same box, so it “piles” up pretty quickly.
I have asthma which is accentuated by my cats and their litter, leaving only my wife to clean the litterbox.
I felt bad for her, as sometimes she did not have the time to clean the litterbox after every cat visit, which would lead to me breaking out in hives and my breathing would get difficult.
I searched the internet for an automated litterbox, but my wife was skeptical, as one of her friends used to have the automated rake type boxes that just didn’t do the job right all the time, because the rake would get coated in wet litter which would lead to the mechanism getting jammed. I found the litter-robot website and showed my wife the video on how it worked. She didn’t like it, mainly because she thought the cats could get stuck inside or it was probably made cheaply and the price was too high. I tried to convince her that the it was safe because of the sensors and that it seemed to be made well, plus, we would save money from not having to lose as much litter as we do when scooping… she still said no.
I went behind her back, like any caring husband would and placed the order for the litter-robot (when it became available in Canada). When I brought it home, my wife was upset; until, that is, when I set it up (Which was as simple as putting the round part on the base and pushing a button). Our cats took to it immediately, which was a relief, and we put it to work right away.
One year later, our litter-robot is still working hard doing the dirty work and my wife could not be happier.
I would recommend the Litter-Robot to anyone who owns a cat. In my house, it is an irreplaceable appliance that needs little attention and time, but returns so much.
Now, if they would make one for dogs….
Thank you so much for such an incredible appliance.
Kind Regards,
Greg and Rhonda

This is BY FAR the best invention ever created. We just purchased out litter robot at the beginning of March and we love it. We have 3 cats (2 adults, 1 kitten). Our oldest took to it like a fish to water. The other adult & kitten were a little hesitant at 1st but after about 2 days it was no issue. I followed the directions in the book on how to get your cats accustomed to the unit and now everyone is on board!
My husband & I used to scoop daily and fully change 2 litter boxes weekly (even though you can let it go for a month). Now, we change the bag 2x per week, wash the tray once & let the litter robot do the rest. I’ll say it again…. this is by far the best invention ever created. It’s cleaner, healthier and a time saver. I also don’t have to keep several litter boxes anymore. Worth the cost!!! You guys should develop one of those ‘priceless’ commercials.
Cat adoption fee $100.00
Cat litter $11.99
Cat food $ 9.99
Litter Robot…never having to scoop poop again: PRICELESS !
Thanx guys, great job!

I bought a litter robot in December of 2007. I loved it immediately, but one of my two cats refused to take to it. Eloise started urinating in my office, on her scratching post etc. and she was doing other things too. After much frustration, I called the support center who recommended ‘cat attract’ litter. I tried this, and it wasn’t enticing enough for my little Eloise.
In the end, I outsmarted my cat by bringing back her old litter box. At first I placed it directly next to the litter robot. Then I moved it across from the litter robot. Then I gradually increased the height of the old litter box so that it was the same height as the litter robot. After many weeks, I kept increasing the height of the old litter-box so that it was extremely hard for her to get to. Then I put a step (a shoebox) on the litter robot. Now both of my cats use it and I am really happy. I hope someone else may benefit from this method of ‘training’.
BTW. I LOVE the litter robot. It’s the best electric litter-box I have had. Previously, I tried several of the litter maid–but the motors kept dying within 6 months. I also tried the Purr-forma. It was a messy nightmare and took up so much space.
Warm regards,
Agnes

Hello,
I wanted to share how VERY happy I am with your product, the Litter Robot!! I initially purchased another automatic litter box that only used crystal litter. What a huge mistake that was because the smell was unbearable, the cat urine was soaking wet in the bottom of the tray. So, I returned it and then did my homework. Should have done more research to begin with but with a multiple cat household (3 kitties), I really wanted to stop being a slave to the litter box and knew that I wanted an automatic litter box.
Well, the Litter Robot is just the best!!! I was hesitant because of the price, but it is well worth every penny. In fact, I think it will save me a lot of money because you use a lot less litter. And, best of all, you can use regular clumping litter, not that super-expensive crystal litter. For anyone with a muli-cat household, this Litter Robot is a must. You will be so happy you own one. Even for a single cat, it would be ideal. You simply just open the drawer and tie up the bag of waste and pop in a new plastic garbage bag and your done!!
My cats adjusted without any problem and because they share a litter box, they seem to like having a fresh box to step into each time they use it. Thank you for such a great product – I will always have a Litter Robot in my home!!

This litter box is one of the best investments in pet products we have made. With four large cats we were scooping our old box every day, now it is simply changing a bag every other day. After a short adjustment period, where they learned it wasn’t the new place to hang out, it’s been fantastic. We have had them unbalance the machine a few times, but all it takes to fix that is a gentle shake to level the litter off and it’s working like normal. The only difficult thing about the litter robot is deciding which is most appreciated, the odor reduction, not having to scoop, or the always clean litter. Either way, it makes for happy cats and happy cat people.

I belong to "Catster" (community for cat lovers) and we just lost our beloved two cats within a day of each other before Thanksgiving….I said ‘no more for a long time’…well, within three short weeks I rescued a white kitty less than a year old and then that same day found a little orange kitty…our net friends at Catster were so happy we adopted two more, they gave us a ‘virtual’ kittybabyshower… there were 408 real people who gave money for the kittybabyshower and one of the things bought for us was your Litter-Robot (the rest of the money was donated to a local shelter).
What an invention!!!! It is amazing!! We love it!!! My white kitty, Gibbs, is already large so he trips the switch easily but little Cash is so tiny he does not.. No problem..I just hit the button for him and it is clean!!! I told my husband last night that it was like not having kitties at all….no more messy clean up or smell!!!! We just get to enjoy the love they give us and we are lucky enough to give back!
Thank you inventors of litter-robot!!! We love you guys..by the way, I ordered another one last week!!! Now they each have their own!!

I want to mention that I did have trouble with my Bot 1 twice. Each time the staff was helpful and very knowledgeable when I talked with them on phone and e-mail. I returned the unit and got quick service and repair. These folks do seem to really want to build the best product possible. They do take customer advice into their product redesigns.
But I would like to see a measuring line either outside or inside, as I ways feel like I might be overloading it. I do have a trick to share for my model . The used litter does tend to want to stay in in a pile, which is problematic when you open the drawer. I had an old elastic band that was made to hold plastic trash bag in the plastic can. Well, I wrapped it around the drawer all the way on the outside around the 2 corners and the bag seems to hold tighter. I use 15 gal kitchen bags. The waste doesn’t seem to pile up from the bag sagging. An easy and cheap fix. Hopefully not a problem with the LR 2.
Truthfully, just can’t wait to see what LR3 will be like.

Let’s be honest – scooping litter boxes is truly the worst chore! After years of scooping, we heard about the litter robot from a family member. I did a lot of research on the internet and I did not find one single bad review on this product. In fact, quite the opposite – rave reviews on every site I found! After reading these reviews and seeing the demonstration on the litter robot website, we were sold! We received it just yesterday and set it up immediately. Our two cats were so curious about it; we could barely get it set up before they were trying to get in! They both used it right off the bat, and we watched it do its "thing" seven minutes later – like two kids with a new toy!! I have no doubts that it is going to be worth every penny and I have been spreading the word to all cat lovers that I know. Thank you automated pet care products for such a great invention – finally! No more doing "paper-rock-scissors" to decide who’s going to clean out the litter box! Ha!

I have three cats, and two loved it from the get go and one just refused to use it, would go on the floor next to it. So I did what I did when I trained her as a kitten. She had to stay in the spare bathroom, which is big by the way I love my kitties, when I was not home. But I let the other two run the house without their buddy. Then she could come out when I was at home, and everytime I saw one of her sisters using it I would show her it was ok. It took a week and she was convinced she didn’t like being separated from her sisters. Now she uses it all the time, I think it just stressed her out as she hates changes. But now she is the one who sits there and watches it cycle when she is done her deposit. Be patient with your kitties, it took mine two weeks to get it together.

I think this is a great machine. I have 3 sibling cats and had been searching for a mechanized catbox that really worked well. I’d been through 2 Littermaid Mega boxes. The first worked adequately, though the waste compartment was too small. The new and "improved" elite, which I bought after the first one died, was junk. I researched other options and then decided to take a chance on the Litter-Robot. The 60day return guarantee was what convinced me to give it a try.
I have two males, an 18lb bubba, a 15lb fellow who is terrified of strangers, and a persnickety 9lb female. The 15lb scaredy cat took to the Litter-Robot immediately (surprise!), the other two were reluctant (the female acting like it was some kind of trap) and continued to use the tiny manual catbox I’d purchased as a stop-gap. I was sure I was going to have to send the Litter-Robot back when they still wouldn’t use it after the other box got incredibly nasty and they’d eliminated elsewhere. I changed it once more and tried again. Long story short, they both finally switched over, with 3 weeks left in the 60 day period.
My little one isn’t always heavy enough to trip the sensor but no big deal. A tap of my foot, or if she’s followed by one of her brothers, does the trick. It is very easy to maintain and the waste drawer has a large capacity so that even with the three I don’t have to empty it frequently. I highly recommend this box!

I’m coming up on four months with the LR. I’ve already sent you letters of praise and a testimonial. I’m sorry to do it again, but….. I’m so happy with this product.
It continues to work beautifully everyday. My kitties love it, I love it, my wife loves it. What an ingenious solution to a dirty problem.
Thanks again,

I waited a few months before submitting my testimonial to really give the Litter Robot a thorough looking over. The product meets, and possibly exceeds, all my expectations. I have two older cats (11 and 12 years old) . I was a little worried about their transition to the box. They are also rather large cats, about 15 pounds each. They have had no problems at all and seem to prefer the Litter Robot over their traditional covered box. My life is now significantly improved and I enjoy my cats more. I have gone from having to scoop litter daily, to just changing the bag once a week. Best of all, there is no odor. Thank you for such an excellent product! It was money well spent for me. If I have any suggestions it would be to design a slightly larger version for those of us with big cats. I feel that especially your repeat customers would be interested in such a product.
Sincerely,

I cannot tell you how happy I am with my Litter Robot. We have two cats and after a rather slow start they have taken to it so well. There is hardly any odor (the only time I have that is when the big guy doesn’t turn around and his hind end hangs out, but that happens very seldom) My husband actually thought they must be going somewhere else because he couldn’t smell the box.
I change it 2 times a week instead of scooping 2 boxes 2-3 times a day. Emma my shy kitty watched it intently as Sam, AKA the big guy went in to explore. I started out with kitty treats in there. Emma wasn’t buying it. Sam, however would do anything for a treat. Then we tried litter. Sam kept looking for treats and wasn’t going in there for doing his business. Then I took away one box. They doubled up on the other. Then I tried Cat Attract………. a very pricey litter that is supposed to attract the kitties. Not my guys, not in the least, finally Leslie at Litter Robot, said take away the other box and just see what happens. Well I waited all day and NOTHING happened. I was Very concerned. Then my hubby came home and we went out to eat and I forgot to bring in the other cat box. Guess what I came home and they were both relieved to have used it "with a little privacy if you please" That following them in to see if they would use it was discouraging them. Duh, it would me if someone followed me to the toilet.
I am already noticing the savings I will get on cat litter (after using up the expensive stuff) They have been using it for about 3 weeks, I have added to it two times. Scraped off a little clump one time. I throw baking soda into the tray/bag to assure odor control, but that may not even be needed. I rinse out the drawer about every other time unless Sam has done his down the front deal. But I think he is figuring it out now. Thanks Litter Robot, my marriage is happier and so am I.

We have 3 cats, two rather robust individuals and have been loyal
Littermaid customers for several years. We purchased the Littermaid Mega Elite about six months ago. What a disappointment that was. In search of a better alternative, I began doing research on different litter systems. Yours seemed to be the most well engineered system from a functional standpoint just from the basic physics. I was a little concerned with the price, but with the 60-day guarantee, I felt we had little to lose.
We have had it for almost two weeks and I must say this is the most efficient litter system I have ever seen! Our 3 cats love it! For the first few days, I kept going in to add litter to find that it didn’t require any. That was a big surprise from the Littermaid model. The way the drum rotates and completely cycles the litter top to bottom not only saves litter but makes sure there is no waste left in the drum. Even the litter tracking is less than the Littermaid and is much more quiet in its operation. For anyone who has the Littermaid and is concerned with the Litter Robot’s noise scaring your cats, don’t bother being worried. You can barely hear this one cycling. Good job guys! Your invention is worth every penny!!

Well, I look at this purchase very much like I did another purchase I recently made…Yes it is Overpriced; and I guess this purchase would be one of those instances that my GrandDad always called “an incident where two fools met”. However I am tickled to death with my purchase as is my wife (who always took care of the litter box chores).
My 2 cats were inside the thing within 6 hours of setting it up and I didn’t even need to leave it turned off until they got used to it… the Litter Box Odor is now a thing of the past (I covered the holes in the shelf/timer trigger with some transparent 3 inch wide parcel tape because I could see how the odors could easily escape). I have had my box for about a week now and haven’t seen the need to even empty the drawer yet.
I know it is waaay to expensive but if you ever can find a way to get one I am sure that you won’t be disappointed. I look at it this way… if I can afford to part with the money for 3 months and can survive, it will be well worth the investment around my house. I am sure that over time it will become even more of a godsend. My wife and I aren’t fighting as much now either. My cats are tickled to death as well. We are using less than half the amount of litter as before I figure too.

My daughter has had a littler robot for six years so when I was about to adopt Mandy (who had been rescued by the son in Philadelphia), I purchased one. Mandy arrived home after a long airline flight from Philadelphia to San Francisco and I put her into the littler robot. She used it and that was that!

I have had 3 different Litter Maids over the years and and they have continually gotten worse in quality. I was so fed up with them! Then I read a review on Amazon.com about the LitterRobot. I went to your site and read the testimonials and decided to try it since it had such a good return policy.
I love this litter box. It did not take long to get my cats to go in it and they seem to like it a lot There is absolutely no mess at all! How refreshing! A litter box that works! AND I don’t have to buy those expensive, polluting receptacles. I only have to change the bag once a week with two cats.
Thank you for inventing a great product. I am telling all my friends with cats about this.

We received our Litter Robot at the end of January, having considered it for almost a year. Because of the high cost, I chose a reconditioned unit. The unit arrived in excellent condition. Setup is as easy as advertised, and the unit is very easy to keep clean. We have ten cats, and only 3 are not using the robot at this time. The house never has a cat odor any more, and we are using a fraction of the litter with a fraction of the tracking that we had in the past.
As a suggestion for some who have still noticed an odor, I found Ruffies color scents trash bags (8 gallon, 76/bag) for under $4.00 at Wal-Mart. The scent seems to be just enough to take care of any residual odors you might have.
Even with 10 cats, the litter box chore is now just one small bag out to the trash each night. This cat box probably saves me more time than my dishwasher.
Thanks Litter Robot.

I already have a testimony in there some place. Just want to let you know, we did a complete cleaning of the LRII today (could have waited one more month after looking at it and cleaning it). Piece of cake!! I stuck it in the shower and rinsed with warm water. 10 minutes later I was done. It is drying right now (I just turned the heat on in the bathroom and put a fan in front of the drum to circulate the air).
Also, the best part of all is we only add 2.5-4 cups of litter (measured) 2 times a week (we have two cats that use the LRII pretty heavily). The maximum time allotted between emptying the tray is 4.5 days for two cats. WE LOVE THIS MACHINE.

I have had 2 different litter maids in the last 1 1/2 yrs….both were a horrible mess to clean and just stopped working. Having multiple cats, I was unsure as to how they would re-act to this machine. My first one came and within just several days…they were using it. No smells and very little tracking outside of the dome. It worked so well that I have ordered a second unit for another room……I love this…and even with multiple cats using each unit, I only need to empty the drawer about every 3 days or so….
It also keeps dogs out of dirty litter!!!
Thank You!

I just have to give you my vote. Having three cats in the house, I spend a lot of time cleaning the litter box. The cost was also a great factor. I was spending about $30.00 to $40.00 a month. At one of my client’s house I noticed the box and bought one. The amount of money and time it had saved me was worth the initial outlay. Every 3 months I would pull it apart and clean the housing, which was not really dirty ( I just like my cats to have a clean bathroom).
Just wanted to say thank you for a great product, kudos to the inventor.

We’re very happy with the Litter-Robot. We have three older (and one of them larger – about 16 lbs) indoor cats. I was a "litter" concerned that the old cats wouldn’t learn new tricks and that, based on Litter-Robot’s "literature", the big lunk just might not fit. However, life is good in the kitty bathroom. Two of the cats caught on within a couple weeks. The big guy was slower: after a "litter"
while longer he started using the Litter-Robot for #1 but #2′d on the floor along side the Litter-Robot. After some timely and friendly suggestions from Shirley with Automated Pet Care Products Customer Service (clean out the inside of the globe and try using Cat Attract brand litter) and, for a while, putting the old-fashioned litter box alongside (to keep #2 off the floor), the lunk caught on. This
revelation occurred only a few days before the 60-day money-back return policy expired. I put away the old litter box and after a few weeks switched back to a more economical litter. The Litter-Robot and the cats have been doing what they’re supposed to ever since (about 4 additional months). Occasionally, when we’re out of the house for a few days, I put the old litter box back alongside for a "litter" extra capacity, but they choose (except maybe for a couple #1′s) to use the Litter-Robot. So, the moral of the story is — be patient and seek help from the masters if your cats are not cooperating.
One benefit that we were hoping for that has worked out nicely: We have a small indoor dog that has a disgusting habit of getting into the cats’ litter box for a little snack (uuugh!). We’ve trained her to stay away, but still leave her in a separate part of the house when we’re gone since she occasionally falls off the wagon. With the Litter-Robot, the "treats" are swept away a few minutes after they’re
produced, reducing (almost eliminating) the likelihood that our dog will find anything if she looks.
I’m the one who used to have the daily chore of scooping two litter boxes (we used to have 5 indoor cats). Having just one "box" that does the scooping for me is a real treat. Don’t deceive yourself though, there is still maintenance involved. With three cats, I change out the tray bag about every two days (I probably could go three) and you do have to supplement the "clean" litter every few days. (Maybe Litter-Robot III will empty the tray, take the bag out to the trash, and add more clean litter!!) All in all, I’m extremely happy with the Litter-Robot and highly recommend it. It’s on the high end, price-wise, but it’s also on the high end, performance-wise, so if you can afford it, buy it! Based on our experience, you won’t be disappointed.

Even though I returned the one I bought a year ago because one of the cats just wouldn’t use it, I recommended it today to someone else:
"I bought one of these for Christmas a year ago and she loved it – provided odor control and prevented the dog from "snacking". Unfortunately, one of the cats would not use it, even though they offer a progressive training regimen to get older cats to adapt, so we returned it after a few weeks. They have a no questions asked return policy (less the shipping costs) so I stand by the company. Not cheap ($300), but it really works. I saw one at someone’s house before I bought it. Unlike the "raking" ones that get gunked up, this worked consistently."

After years of frustration from scooping out conventional litter boxes, I went online investigating automatic litter boxes. I wasn’t thrilled with the reviews of other automatic boxes. I stumbled across Litter-Robot online, but dismissed it due to the high cost. I came back, however, and began reading reviews. After reading about the payment plan and all the great reviews, I decided to order. This product is fabulous!!!. We have 3 cats, and my male cat used it within 20 secs. My larger cat, over 12 lbs, used it within the first day with no issues. We have one last cat that is taking some convincing, although she took convincing to use a litter box in the first place.
My male cat is so fascinated, that ever time he hears it start up, he runs into the laundry room to watch it. Sometimes he tries to climb in, but it stops immediately. My only suggestion for improvement is to put a sixth grommet in the front to hold the bag. Otherwise it is perfect!!!

Hi,
I just want to say that it took my girls about 10 days to start using the "Bot" but use it they did … I feel like singing like Julie Andrews on the mountaintop. I finally had to take away their old box (the cold turkey method) and sprinkled Cat Attract on the litter which worked like a magnet – amazing. I also think because of the styling of the "bot" my one won’t be ambushing the other. I’m thrilled is an understatement.
I think the whole system is pretty darn amazing, and the look of the black Star Wars model is very sleek. The delivery box was pretty scary … I thought you sent a trainer along with the "bot" but, no, it just was a great packing job. The unit itself is not huge, about the size of a kitchen trash can. I’ve read about the noise and to that I say "what noise?", it is very quiet. I am impressed.
I, like many others, contemplated yet another litter box discovery, asking myself how much more will I spend in search of the perfect box? I made one more investment and it’s the best money I’ve spent. Clean litter, no daily dumping, scraping, etc., no smell (I’ve put baking soda in the trash bag just in case) is it worth the investment – you can bet your cat’s butt on that LOL As one person stated, now if it will only take the stuff outside, it would be a perfect world.
Again, thank you for coming up with such a great product, sleek, well made and does the job. I will continue to monitor my 2 cats to make sure they are getting used to the "bot" and hopefully, by next weekend it will be set on automatic.

Hello there,
I have been trying to submit feedback for my Litter robot for the past six months, but my computer does not support Outlook Express. I hope that I can get feedback to you this way.
Firstly I live in the Uk and found it very difficult to obtain a Litter-robot. Eventually I was able to buy one from you from your European distribution center at a great price. I have 4 cats – two Singapuras, one Birman and a Siamese and they are
all house cats. I previously bought 3 littermaids and they all went wrong due to damaged circuit boards. It was impossible to send them back to the manufacturer from the UK, so I searched the web and found the litter robot.
I have had mine for six months now, and cannot praise it highly enough. The cats took to it straight away, there is absolutely no smell and it uses far less litter than the Littermaids (I use the Worlds Best Cat Litter). This machine has been a godsend – thank you so much for inventing it!
Best regards,

All I can say is WOW! The Litter Robot surpassed my every expectation. Initially my 2 cats were very reluctant to go near the Litter Robot. Lo and behold after following the advice given in manual, within 3 days they were happily using the Litter Robot. One of the best decisions I’ve every made!!!

Hello, just wanted to let you know that I received my Litter Robot and my cat has started using it. My cat is a fully grown Persian cat female, about 7 years
old. My cat’s been using it for about 2 weeks now and no major problems to report.
Comments:
1. When I received the box, I was surprised. The shipping box was huge! But once I took the Litter Robot out of the box and assembled it, it wasn’t that big.
2. My cat started using it within 24 hours, didn’t require much persuasion. But the sensor did not activate after my cat used it and had to adjust the sensor by rotating it twice. Now it works perfectly.
3. It’s a little noisy for my taste but it’s in another room so it doesn’t bother me while I’m sleeping.
4. It appears to be solidly built. I had horrible experience with another litter box cleaner. They usually broke with less than a month of use. I’m hoping Litter Robot will last much longer than that. I’ll give you a feedback later this year to see how this product is holding up.
Best Regards,

I love the Litter Robot!!! I have arthritis, and it makes my life so much easier. My cat was nervous about it at first, so I left it off until he had used it a few times. Once I turned it on, he was once again nervous, but seemed to get over the noise pretty quickly. Now, he actually likes to make it go, so he will use the box. Watch it do its thing, and then go right back in to make it happen again. He is obsessed with it. Usually, after the third time, he gets bored and moves on until the next time he needs to use it, and then the cycle starts all over. He cracks me up! Thanks for such a great invention!

I tried several other methods for our three cats once they migrated inside the house after years of using the great outdoors for their needs. Nothing worked well enough. No litter box was clean enough—the litter kept traces of the cats’ business and had to be entirely changed quite frequently in order to remain acceptable by my standards.
Then I found a site that described the litter robot and I decided to purchase one. What an ingenious machine! You have to see it work to believe it. I am amazed at how clean the litter has remained after nearly two weeks of use. All I need to do is add litter every once in a while. The box is close to being odorless, too. And I am so grateful that I can place a regular garbage bag in the drawer without having to worry about soiling my hands or spilling anything when I empty the drawer.
Our cats took to the box within a day. I didn’t need to coax them at all. It’s funny to watch how each cat uses it. I guess I never realized how very particular cats can be. They are definitely clean, and they deserve the cleanest, most efficient litter machine around.

I had been told by a friend that this "automatic" litter box really did work but didn’t decide to try it for quite some time. I thought maybe my cats were too big or there were too many or they might not aim right once inside. But finally I broke down and bought one and we love it!! Cats do too.
We are a cattery and have had five females and several kittens using it on manual mode. Now that the kittens are leaving we will go to automatic mode. Although I have several other litter boxes they definitely used this one a lot and I’m now planning to get 2-3 more and replacing other boxes.

We just got our litter robot this month! Let me start out by saying, I’ve been the one on litter box duty for years now. No matter how fun I seem to try to convince my husband it is, he doesn’t seem excited to change them? HAHAHA With 7 cats, and 3-4 standard boxes, it was quite a smelly chore. The temptation was always there though whenever I passed an automatic kitty box in PetSMart stores.. looked too good to be true….One day my husband Chris said to me while researching boxes on the net.. "hey honey, what color do you want on the screen? black or beige? to which I replied…"white." no, no he said.. "black or beige??" "fine, beige I guess.." I wasn’t too impressed.. and went back to cleaning my house.. (housework never ends right??)
After our litter robot arrived (while I was at work), my husband (who had a day off) eagerly set it up…doing everything the manual said to do to introduce our kitties to it… they took to it immediately…my husband is so impressed and fascinated with this neat gadget, he now takes care of EVERYTHING!! I pretend I’m not mechanically inclined and don’t know anything about his new toy yet… lol and I haven’t touched litter since!!

We bought your product because I have a cat that does not want to use a dirty box, and she sprays the hood of the litter box, so other automated litter boxes would not have worked for us. This was the perfect solution. This product is so easy to assemble and operate and is very well built. There was certainly a lot of thought that went into the design of this product. We love it
The moment we set it up the first of our three cats entered and had no problem figuring out what to do. If fact, it is not only a litter box, it is a source of constant amusement. As soon as it cycles, they gather to watch. For the first few weeks one of the cats stopped the unit continuously as it proceeded through the cycle by stepping on the entry step and peering inside. Then I added a small step stool in front of it and now she sits on the stool to watch the inside and does interrupt the cleaning cycle.
We would like to see a larger unit for the longer cat. We have a very long cat that has to go through quite a contortion to use it. Despite that, she loves it!

I can’t say enough good things about the Litter-Robot. I adopted a 10 year old, 19-lbs cat and was a little concerned that he might not want to use it (something new and it made sounds), or that he was going to be a little too large to use it. I set it up in the same location that his old [covered] litter box had been and mixed a little of his old/used litter with a newer brand of kitty litter. I started the cycle to get everything properly sifted and aligned. I then went about my evening as if nothing had changed. I did notice a little bit of curiosity on the cats part, so I started the "cycle" so he could see it and hear it while I was there with him. A few hours later while the cat was sitting on my lap, I heard a strange noise and noticed that the Litter-Robot had come to life. Ahhh, the sweet sound of success.
I travel occasionally for work and prior to this purchase I noticed how quickly the standard litter box had filled up and how unwilling the cat was to use it if there was not a clean area to “GO…” With the Litter-Robot, the good is separated from the bad and the cat is happy, I am happy and clean up is a breeze. I use inexpensive trash bags to line the drawer and when it is time to empty, I just turn them inside out and take them outside to the trash. When the cycle starts, the noise is minimal and barely noticeable in my small 1 bedroom apartment.
After reading so many helpful automated litter box reviews on Amazon, I was pleased to find information about the Litter-Robot™ that guided me towards a purchase.

I bought the Litter-Robot a few months ago for my 2 Birmans. I had no trouble getting them to use it. As I expected, the adult male was the first to use it as he is more adventurous than his mother. But a few days after he used it, I saw her use it and out went the litter box. There has been no trouble with it ever since.
Zen, the male cat, finds the device fascinating. He watches the cycle with total attention. He has learned that if he puts his paws on the sensor during the cycle it stops andd if he takes them off it continues. So every once and a while we have a 5 minute cycle. It doesn’t harm the machine and it makes Zen happy.
I should mention that these are fairly large cats. Zen is 15 pounds and fairly long, but he has no trouble using the Litter-Robot. It certainly makes me happy, as bending over to scoop litter is difficult for me. Pulling out the drawer every 5-6 days is a lot easier.
Highly recommended.

Can I be thrilled with a product only after a week of use? I have three cats and two dogs who have a peculiar taste for the contents of the litter box. Needless to say, trying to find a location for the boxes that only the cats can access, while maintaining sanitary conditions in the house, has been a challenge.
Enter the Litter Robot. I was stunned at how easy it was to put together, but I pulled the first litter “bag” out by mistake, thinking it was packing. It went back in easily, and we were good to go. After setting it up the evening it arrived, the first cat used it within an hour, and the second early the following morning. Their curiosity really did it – they couldn’t wait to get in the thing!
I cycled it myself for a couple of days, turning it on and off in front of the cats so they wouldn’t be startled by it when it ran. Upon leaving it plugged in, however, it seemed that it cycled extremely frequently. Coincidentally, the dogs would disappear for a while, then sneak into their beds, back and forth all evening, with the LR going off every seven minutes! The cats were nowhere in sight. I went into the laundry room to see what might be going on. You guessed it — the dogs were triggering the globe, looking for a snack! I’d rather have the thing run a few extra times than deal with the dogs’ bad eating habits.
I will be ordering a second unit. My third cat stays in another part of the house, and will be getting her own for her birthday. I rave about your product to all my cat-owning friends – especially the ones who initially told me about it, but were reluctant to buy one themselves!
I’m still so surprised that such an unusual product solves the cat litter problem so elegantly! I wish your business every success.

I received my Litter Robot the day before Christmas. I wondered what I was getting into when the BIG box arrived – but assembly was a breeze and the cats were curious.
Our black cat Edward took to it right away. In fact, he is mesmerized by it – watching it go around, and stepping on the step to stop it when he wants a closer look inside – kitty entertainment. We have one Birman that doesn’t trust it yet, and is still using the box – but he was traumatized by the Litter Maid and may never get over it. (Litter Maid was one of the worst investments I ever made!!)
The other two Birmans are experimenting, and I think they like it. No more spraying over the edge of the box, and no smell. I love the convenience of the drawer. Why didn’t I buy one of these before! It is great!

This is the fourth automatic litter box I have tried. I am on a limited income but love my cat. So I tried others first because of the price. It was a waste of money.
I PROMISE YOU, I have had this litter box for almost 2 years now, and it is absolutely the BEST thing that will ever happen to you and your cat.
I am retired, brought my cat with me, and live in Cancun, MX. Shipping here is difficult. Receiving any shipping, other than FedEx, is doubtful. It is either takes over a month, is lost or stolen. The company was new and not willing to ship directly to me. So I had it shipped to my daughter in San Francisco, and she brought it on the plane to visit me. I would have preferred that the company agreed to my request to ship it to me by FedEx. Perhaps they now do that. My daughter bringing it on the plane from San Francisco was not the best move I ever made, but she has forgiven me!
I can absolutely 100% guarantee that this will make the life of you and your cat better than you EVER imagined. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but not more expensive than trying all of the cheaper brands first! And how does price compare to you and your cat being happy? I can go back to the USA to visit my kids for over a month at a time, and my maid only checks to see if my honey has food and water, and NEVER has to change the litter! I find NO DUST and absolutely NO SMELL. It is the best automatic cat litter box on the market!

Greetings,
I ordered the Litter Robot before Christmas and I am very glad I did. I was a little bit concerned about the price, but I can say it is worth every penny! I have 4 cats and my bathroom never smells anymore.
I was also worried that my cats would be scared of it because 3 of them were wild that I brought inside. But I can say they used it right a way no problem.
I also want to pass on 2 tips I use the scented trash bags that I found at the local dollar store to make the soiled litter smell a little better. I also use Filter Fresh Whole Home Air Freshener filter pads that you use for your home filters in the garbage bag area to make it smell good too.
Thanks so much ,

I received my litter robot on the second of January 2008. My 2 cats were there as I unpacked their new gift. Ernie is a black 8 month old pound kitty and Sweeney is a 7 week old fluff ball. You could not ask for sweeter well behaved felines. Ernie ( named after Sesame Street) sleeps with our 2 year old and guards our 8 month old. Sweeney has the same disposition.
I felt they deserve the best. What more could I give these great felines? I know —the litter robot.
At the time I had the mega litter maid. I had it for 4 years. It was nice but such a pain to replace the poop cans and the maintenance was NOT fun. Once a month I cleaned this thing out and sprayed the whole thing with vegetable oil to keep the parts moving. Yet the rack would still jam on a big load, be in pee or poo. The only reason mine lasted that long was the care I gave it, which in my opinion is not self cleaning.
So after long research I found the litter robot. I put it together and I swear both my cats were in it within the first few seconds of the initial cycle. I used some old litter with new but I think they were just into the privacy of the dome. Since I have been an electric litter box consumer for many years I have to say I have never been more excited by this product.
Thanks so much,
Autumn, Ernie and Sweeney

The Best Christmas Gift!
I bought the litter robot as a Christmas gift to myself and love it. It seemed pricey so I purchased a reconditioned unit and my cat took to it as soon as I set it up. I also received the unit very quickly after ordering. This strange looking, yet wonderfully working machine makes litter clean up as effortless as possible.
I highly recommend this product to anyone in search of easing the litter box burden. Also, adding an small open box Arm & Hammer Fridge and Freezer Odor Absorber to the collection bin completely eliminates any smell.
Thank you Litter Robot for such an amazing product.
