Improved
Litter-Robot Design
October 2004
APCP is committed to continuously improving the
Litter-Robot to make your life as a cat owner easier
and to provide you with the best self-cleaning
litter box available on the market.
The latest
version of the Litter-Robot has a brand new Cat Sensor.
Adjusting the Cat Sensor sensitivity is now much easier
and does not require any tools. Also, the Cat
Sensor is now protected against dirt and contamination
to ensure trouble free operation.
Another
product improvement is the new anti-pinch feature to
give you even more confidence that the Litter-Robot has
been designed with your cat's safety in mind.
If you have
any questions about these new features, please
contact us. |

New
& Improved Litter-Robot Features
February 2001
Automated Pet Care Products, Inc. is committed to
offering the best, automated litterbox on the market.
Due to this commitment we have made the following
improvements:
- Control Panel Lockout Feature
- This feature prevents children or your pet
from pressing the buttons and cycling the unit
unnecessarily. However, it will allow the unit
to function normally in the automatic mode.
- Alternative Screen
- Our customers use a variety of litters. To
accommodate these preferences we are now offering
an alternative screen that will allow use of
World's Best Cat Litter (corn based
clumping litter) and Litter Pearls
(silica beads).
- Warranty
- We have extended the warranty to 18 months.
- Wait Time
- Wait-time before cycling has been shortened
from 15 minutes to 7 minutes. The purpose of
the reduced time is to accommodate households
with multiple cats. This will ensure that each
cat has a clean litter bed when needed.

| The
Litter-Robot self cleaning litter box makes its debut
April
7-9, 2000
Litter-Robot makes its debut at America's Family
Pet Expo in Pomona, California. Thousands of pet lovers
get their first glimpse of the space age litter box.
Designed and manufactured by Automated Pet Care Products,
Inc. in Pontiac, Michigan, Litter-Robot is a
long way from home for its first appearance. Demonstration
after demonstration turns expressions of confusion,
wonder, and disbelief into smiles saying "ah hah!".
The unique spherical design elicits descriptions such
as "out of this world!", "looks like a cement mixer!",
and "looks so ugly its cute!". Brad Baxter of Automated
Pet Care Products explains, "Its looks are a result
of all the functional requirements. We didn't decide
it should look like a gum ball machine, it just happened
in the process of trying to meet all of the criteria
we had defined for the product." |
