I
just wanted to let you know, I was not very optimistic
when I ordered my Litter-Robot, but I was going
away on vacation and required an easy method
to have my pet caretaker empty the litter pan. The
Litter-Robot worked great and I had a wonderful
vacation. I have now just submitted an
order to get a Litter-Robot for my Dad - I know
his cats will truly appreciate it as you can
place more litter in it than the LitterMaid which
they currently use.
The
only suggestion I have is I wish it was a tiny
bit smaller than I could place the Litter-Robot
under my specially designed bathroom sink vanity
which used to house my regular litter pan. No
matter that it will not fit under my bathroom
sink I will not give up the Litter-Robot for
something that will fit and have adjusted my
laundry area to accommodate the Litter-Robot.
Thanks
for a wonderful product and YES, it is worth
the extra expense after having used scoop pans
and the LitterMaid - the extra cost is not an
issue.

Ok,
I was not a Litter-Robot believer, so I ordered
one with the idea of returning it, if it did
not work as all the testimonials stated. Well,
I LOVE IT, and best of all my cats love it. We
kept the old LitterMaid next to it, in case our
finicky feline friends would not change, and
they immediately began using the Litter-Robot.
I
was worried about the size of the opening because
we have two bengals and one is fairly large and
lean, but he got in it as soon as it came out
of the box, the opening is much larger than the
pictures illustrate.
We
got the bone color which blends in nicely. I
can't get over how easy and wonderful it is. No
more mess!! You just pull out the drawer
and empty it!! With two cats, sometimes
they will not use the same box, well no problem
our cats did!
I
am praising it to our local vet and pet store
that they should offer it. Well worth the
$$, don't try anything else. Best investment
this year!
Thanks
Litter-Robot!! You have figured out how
to hide the litter, as well as the odor!!

it!
I
just received the Litter-Robot last week. The
cats took to it right away! I have 3 cats
and the oldest is nearing 20 years old. He
has no trouble getting in and out. The
other 2 cats love to watch it go through the
clean cycle.
The
odor problem has gone away almost completely. Thanks
for a great product!!

Ok,
I'm a diehard skeptic about new electronic thingies. I
have six indoor cats segregated into two different
parts of my house. I have gone through
several LitterMaids as well as the old standby "human
cleaned" litter boxes.
A
month or two ago I bought a ... Litter-Robot. My
cats were not happy at first and I finally sat
down and actually read the booklet about teaching
your cats to use the device.
I
am so happy with the results that I just ordered
my second Litter-Robot to put in the area with
the other three cats. This thing is great. It's
clean, easy to use, wonderfully easy to
empty the litter container (your hands never
touch anything remotely nasty), and there's no
smell.
Someone
finally figured out how to make an electronic
litter box that works. These folks deserve to
make millions. I hope that they do!
I'm
one satisfied customer!

Subject: My
experience with Customer Service.
Well,
you won't believe my story.
I
ended up adopting two 6 year old sister cats. We
picked the cats up to take home and where advised
that they came with a Litter-Robot. We
were stunned when we saw the machine.
I
was told by this 2nd owner that sometimes the
lights would all flash at once and that the machine
had to be unplugged and then plugged back in
to reset the machines functions. .... I
emailed the Customer Service group for the Litter-Robot. I
told them the story of how I got the cats and
the Litter-Robot. I asked if they could
help me by telling me what was wrong with the
Litter-Robot, so that I could try to fix it.
Their
email response time was incredible. To
my amazement, I was told that the machine was
still under warranty and that a new base would
be shipped to me immediately. I couldn't
believe it, neither could my husband. I
received the base within 5 days and immediately
plugged it in. It works like a charm and
the cats and family are happy once again.
Thank
you Lauren Ford in Customer Service for such
excellence! We have already referred your
product to everyone we know that owns cats.

Subject: Litter-Robot: A very good investment
Hello Litter-Robot staff,
I just had to write in to say what a wonderful product
you have. This is the best litter box available
on the market today. I was going to buy a self-cleaning
litter box from your competitor (LitterMaid) until I
stumbled across a few reviews on
the Internet about their product, and yours. Needless
to say just about every review about their product was
negative, and every review on the Litter-Robot that I
read was positive.
Honestly, the only thing that I was worried about
was the price difference between the two. The
Litter-Robot is a little more pricey, but you do get
what you pay for. I found that out after I purchased
the Litter-Robot.
I have three cats, and just after six short days all
of my cats were comfortably using the Litter-Robot.
Then about 2 and 1/2 months later I did encounter one
small problem. I thought "Great, it was
too good to be true, now what?" So I called
the toll free number, and explained the problem. The
very next day I received the replacement part in the
mail. It literally took under 24 hours to
get to my house. It did not cost me anything
either. Thanks to the full 18-month warranty. On
top of that the sales associate that I spoke with was
very polite
and professional, and I actually talked to a live person
(Lauren).
I have only good things to say about the Litter Robot. If
more business ran their
operation the way the Litter-Robot staff does, the
world would be a better place.
Thanks for making a great product, and for treating
your customers with respect. I will defiantly
recommend the Litter-Robot to my friends and family.
Sincerely,

Subject: Thank
you.
I
purchased a Litter-Robot about a year ago now. I
never had to un-jam, unclog, or fix anything
at all. I am so happy. Besides emptying
it out and filling it once a week (on garbage
day), I forget it's there.
My
only regret is that I was skeptical to buy one,
so I bought a LitterMaid first... (it was cheaper). When
the LitterMaid broke in about 4 months after
jamming every other day I felt ripped off. Tech
support was horrible on the LitterMaid,
but with the Litter-Robot I never had to call
anyone. Just plug it in, fill it, and
click it to ready position. I really can't
see how it could fail. It's so simple,
yet efficient.
My
cat and I thank you for this product.

Subject: Love
It
I
just wanted to let you know how great your product
is. We have one Litter-Robot, one LitterMaid
(that I dislike) and several regular litter boxes. We
are going to buy a couple more Litter-Robots ..... Eventually
I want to have only Litter-Robots. They
really are great. I empty the drawer every
night. It is easy. No comparison
to the LitterMaid. It is yucky, not to
mention the cost of the waste receptacles.
I
just absolutely love the Litter-Robot and have
recommended it to my friends and coworkers who
have cats.
Keep
up the good work. You have a great product!! ........

Subject: Great
product
I
got the Litter-Robot almost a year ago now, and
I just can't believe how great it is. I
have 3 cats, and without this, I think the litter
box detail would have had me finding homes for
one or more of them eventually. The litter
box is no longer an awful part of my every
day. I empty it every couple of days, and
I do it with a smile.
I
can't believe people with multiple cat households
wonder if they should buy this thing! They
must just love litter box cleaning and odor! I
am buying two of these as Christmas gifts
for family members. It is the best
investment a cat owner can make, other than health
related items. And the Customer Service
is simply the best I have ever experienced with
any product or service ever.

Subject: The
Best Litter Box EVER
I
have 10 cats, so litter box management is pretty
important to me. I have tried everything,
including the LitterMaid, but no automated box
could ever stand up to the “industrial” use requirements
of my house. Then, one day, I decided to
spend the money on a Litter-Robot. Best
decision I ever made!
Even
in my high traffic household, the box stays clean
and runs beautifully. When I did have some
problems with the first unit I was sent, the
Customer Service folks bent over backwards to
help resolve the issue. They offered suggestions
to resolve the problem, but always let me know
that I could return the unit for replacement
at their expense. They followed up with
me, to check on my satisfaction, and finally
I decided to get the new unit. Problem
solved and now I am buying my second Litter-Robot
to replace my last LitterMaid that just died.
Don’t
waste your time and money on other automated
litter boxes.

the Litter-Robot today.

Subject: Great
support
Outstanding
Customer Service is often little more than an
ad slogan. I purchased my Litter-Robot
about a year ago and had some trouble with it
recently. This is after a year of use by
six cats. I contacted Lauren at the Help
desk and the problem was diagnosed, a new part
shipped and fixed in less than two weeks. No
problem, no hassle. I have had other units
in the past (LitterMaid) and not only was I treated
like cat litter by their so called customer service,
but was told the unit was unserviceable.
Your
people are phenomenal! Thank you, Lauren

Subject: Phenomenal
Product
My
cat has been pooping in
my dining room for over a year and a half -
every day, sometimes twice. I
can't tell you how frustrated I've been trying
to find a solution. In
the first 5 years of
having her, not
once did she go anywhere but her litter box. ......
When
I say I tried everything, I mean
EVERYTHING. ..... I tried Feliway,
Nature's Miracle, No-Go, garlic mixtures, and lemon
air fresheners - you
name it......
I
decided to give the Litter-Robot a shot, knowing
it was
a less costly alternative with a
money-back guarantee.
So,
the Litter-Robot arrived. Knowing my cat
is somewhat
jumpy, I took it
out of the box and just let
it sit in the living room for 3 days, trying
to get her used to its presence. Even
with cat nip, she wouldn't go near it and hissed every
time she passed
by. I almost
packed it up and shipped it back, convinced she'd
never use
it. Instead, I put
it in the dining room corner, filled
it with
litter, and watched it go through several cycles.
I was
fascinated - she was definitely curious, but kept
her distance. After a few minutes I brought
the unused
litter out to the garage, and by
the time I got back my cat was in the
Litter-Robot, doing
her business. I absolutely could
not believe my
eyes. I STILL
can't believe it. Within 48 hours we had 2
poops and 3 pees - it's been 10 days, a seamless
transition, and she has used it every single
time. And
whenever the cycle starts, she leaps up, runs over
and sits right in front of it watching
it work.
We
both absolutely love this machine - my
cat's name is Mercedes, and this product is the Mercedes
of litter boxes!

The only thing my fiancé and I ever argued over was
whose turn it was to clean the litter box! We
live in an apartment and didn't look forward to coming
home every day to a smelly house! Seriously,
who wants to come home after working all day and scoop
out your cat's litter box?
Ever since we got the
Litter-Robot it's been
smooth sailing! The
cats took to it right away
with no problems, and now
we no longer argue over
whose turn it is to scoop. We
just remove the bag from
the (drawer) every couple
of days and toss it! We
will be passing the Litter-Robot
on to everyone we know! Thanks
so much!

Subject: the
best invention
Litter-Robot
is the best invention since the microwave. It
took my cats all of two minutes to go in it and
use it. Sometimes I think they like the
sound it makes when cleaning because they stick
their head in it to see what is going on.
And
cleaning has never been easier. I just
open the drawer, take out the plastic bag, knot
it and toss it. It's quick, easy and the
best part is there is no smell. You would
never know I have cats.

you for such a great litter box.

Subject: Simply a Godsend
The Litter-Robot is fantastic. I have 6 cats
and before I got the Litter-Robot I had 8 LitterMaid
boxes that the cats didn't like to use. They
were really turned off by the smell of waste in the
receptacles. Now I have one simple Litter-Robot
that is easy to empty once a day and now I don't have
anymore problems with my cats using the rest of my
house as a "litter box."
I too was skeptical at first and wasn't sure about
paying so much for a litter box but I figured since
there was a return policy I could always return the
unit. The cats took the Litter-Robot and I
threw all my LitterMaid boxes away. I spent
way more money on all of the LitterMaid boxes and
they were worthless.
Also, the customer service for the Litter-Robot
is fantastic. Recently the sensor broke on
my unit and I called Litter-Robot who shipped out
a new base immediately and offered the sincerest
apology. I too searched for a long time for
a better litter box solution and am so happy that
I found the Litter-Robot.
Thank you,

I ran across your product
while looking into repair ideas for my second
LitterMaid. After watching the forum at litterbox-central.com
for about six months and waiting for my second
LitterMaid to die, I purchased one of your Litter-Robots.
This thing rocks! I
freaking love it. My two cats started using
it almost immediately. I hope you all become
billionaires. I recommend it to everyone
and have had most of my co-workers over to check
it out.
Keep up the good work,
although I see no problems with it, I'm sure it
will continue to evolve to an even better product
than it is already. Shipping was very quick,
I received in in just a few days after ordering
it.
Thanks again!

I
had just got my first cat and got a litter box
with it. When I was a kid we had many cats
and never had to deal with a litter box, so this
was new to me. My kitty understood the litter
box right away, but then I needed to learn how
to keep it clean. Darn, this is not very
fun, cleaning it every morning and evening after
work!
Thought
that there needs to be a better way. I saw
the auto cleaning boxes in the pet stores. They
seem to use a rake system that people on the Internet
say get caught and stop and that their cat gets
scared and stops using it! I thought to myself..."Self,
you can not let this happen!" I held
up from purchasing any automatic litter box for
awhile. As the cleaning continued, the more
I searched, until I saw your web site! "Wow,
30 day free trial! How can I lose? Can't!" I
was still unsure of the product but with the 30
day return policy, I saw no need not to try it. It
was a no-lose situation.
When
the Litter-Robot arrived, I set it up per the simple
instructions and in a matter of two days, the cat
was using it and the old box was removed a day
later! It is now getting close to the 30
day trial limit and this machine is working great
for me as well as Torrie... my Kat!
Thank
You, and you will not be getting this product back
(unless it breaks!),
Thanx,
Happy
Kat owner and Kat!

Subject: 22
lb. cat
When
I first contacted you, you were concerned that
my somewhat overweight 22 pound cat wouldn't
be able to use the Litter-Robot, and if he could
get in it, you were concerned that my 5 pound
cat may not be able to trip the sensor.
Well
-- when I got the Litter-Robot I immediately
threw out the LitterMaid and set the Litter-Robot
in its place. Fully hooked up and ready
to go. I had no problem in getting them
to investigate. My cats immediately took
to it, and they love it!
Spanky,
(Mr. 22 lb.) has no trouble getting around in
it, and is very happy because he no longer has
to avoid chunks the other two have left behind. No
more are the days of cleaning a gummed-up rake
because Symie or Leo (5 and 9 lbs) was not considerate
enough to cover their poop. No more are
the days of coming home with the stench of cat
box in the air. I change the bag about
every 2 to 3 days. How wonderful not to ever
touch a nasty box!
I
love my Litter-Robot. My husband loves
it. Most importantly, the three cats that
use it - love it. Thank you for this wonderful
invention. I tell everyone I know with
cats that they NEED this. I hope you are
around forever. Your item should be more
advertised.
I
searched for a long time before buying one, and
was skeptical, but I never read a bad report
on all the feedback sites and decided to give
it a try. I am glad I did.

The
Litter-Robot is working wonderfully!!! Within
just a few hours "someone" (one of the
three cats) had already used it. It is just
one of the BEST inventions that I've seen for cat
owners and lovers!!
I
had the LitterMaid for years, and the one quit
working just recently, and since it DID require
some maintaining to keep it somewhat free of "stuff" that
would stick to the bottom and build up, I decided
to see if there wasn't a better product out for my
kitty cats' bathroom. I thought about it
for a week or two because of the price tag, read
all kinds of reviews, and they all were good. So
decided to "go for it" and am so glad
I did (even though my sister will think I'm NUTS
for paying over $300 for a litter box). In
fact, I'll will most likely buy a second one when
the upstairs LitterMaid conks out.

I'm
so glad I took the plunge... Fabulous
I debated,
like a lot of people, whether or not to spend
this kind of money on a litter box. I'm
so glad I did. It was touch and go at first,
but all four of my girls are using the Litter-Robot
and love to sit and watch it in action. It
is quite intimidating and looks like something
from outer space. It was so simple to put
together and works like a charm.
At
first, my cats would put their feet on the drawer
and smell all around the opening and then go
away. Three of them did the very same thing
and smelled the exact same way. It was
a hoot to watch. I guess one of them gave
the other 2 the thumbs up and they started using
the Litter-Robot.
I was
approaching my 30 days and didn't know if my
Siamese was ever going to get with the program. I
had left a towel out just in case of accidents
and she would go on the towel (I caught her)
instead of going into the Litter-Robot. Finally,
I took the towel away and prayed I wouldn't come
home to a big mess. I was pleasantly surprised
to find no messes. Everything has been
smooth sailing ever since. Clean up is
such a breeze and not a hassle like the LitterMaid. The
LitterMaid was better than manually scooping
everyday, but the Litter-Robot beats everything
hands down.
They
still like to just sit in the room and gaze at
their Litter-Robot. It is so funny to watch
them. We are one big happy family. Thank
you Litter-Robot. You have made my life
so much easier and much easier for my friends
and family who watch after my girls when I'm
gone.

I've
had my Litter-Robot for more than two years,
and still think it's the best thing I ever bought.
They are expensive, but I'm not good about cleaning
litter boxes, and didn't want my new kitten to
develop bad habits because of my negligence.
My little guy loves his fancy bathroom, and so
do I.
I'm
sure the savings in litter and liner bags has
already saved me lots of money over the LitterMaid. I
did have trouble with it after about six months
-- it was not resetting properly. ..... The company
paid for return shipping and I had it back within
a few days. It has worked perfectly ever since. If
this company ever goes public, I'll buy stock.
Thank you.

Dear
makers of Litter-Robot,
I found myself debating between other similar products
and yours. It took some spousal coercing to spend
the $300, but I told him it wasn't for the cats - it
would be for me. We have two wonderful cats and
I love them dearly, but I've been cleaning poop every
morning before I go to work for over 7 years and one
of my cats doesn't even cover her poop. She's
a stray, so she doesn't know proper litter etiquette. The
house fills will a raunchy smell of poop every time
she goes.
So we buy the Litter-Robot and it gets here. We place
it in the living room so the cats have an opportunity
to sniff it and see that it's not a big black monster
(we bought ours in black). That same evening
I placed the Litter-Robot in the same room with the
litter box, but in opposite sides of the room. The
one cat who had been sniffing it all along, came right
up and used it (to mark his spot, of course. And
it was so delightful to watch the Litter-Robot in action
as it ever so gently rolled the poop away. And
I didn't have to do a thing. I just watched in
amazement. Since the stray still wouldn't use
the Litter-Robot, I switched the litter box with the
Litter-Robot and the next time our stray went to go
poop, she just climbed into it and left a deposit.
It was in the same spot as the litter box and that's
all that mattered to her.
I'm giving you these two separate examples so that
others considering this
purchase will see that it works for all cats (even
strays) - you as the
homeowner need to adjust the "introduction" for
each. The younger male
wanted to mark his spot and used it right away. He
probably love it too, because it's big and roomy. The
older female stray needed to see it in the
same spot that she goes to everyday, as she is a creature
of habit.
What amazes me more than all this is that this all
happened on the FIRST
DAY. I am so happy I got it. It is worth
every penny. Thank you so much for creating this
absolutely fabulous product.

We
received our Litter-Robot on Saturday and immediately
set it up. My husband and I waited with
anticipation for the first cat to enter. (We
are the proud parents of 3 large male cats). Our
cats immediately took to the Litter-Robot. We
were able to pull both of our LitterMaid Self
Cleaning Litter Boxes the same night. There are
NO accidents to report!
I
don't know how we ever lived without the Litter-Robot. We
have tried pretty much everything on the market
and they have all been very disappointing. The
self flushing litter box was a huge mistake.
The stench was indescribable when it cycled and
the Perform failed to perform and was returned
the same week.
Then
there was the LitterMaid's. They seemed
the best of the bunch, but still lacking a lot. They
are loud, nasty and a pain to clean not to mention
soiled litter popping up in your face when you
change the expensive receptacles. I truly
believe that a conventional litter box is easier
to deal with then the LitterMaid, but it does
keep the box cleaner through the day that a conventional. Oh,
did I mention the rake that is always covered
with some form of excrement! My husband
and I would fight over who cleans the litter
box (some scooping still required)
Today
things have changed! I gladly change the
bag in our Litter-Robot. I change it about
every third day but we could probably go four. The
odor level is minimal, if any, which is a refreshing
change. I truly can't say enough about
this litter box. I never want to be without
one again.
I
want to thank you for this web site, otherwise
we would never have been liberated from our litter
box nightmares! I would not recommend any
other self cleaning litter box. They are all
a waste of money and the expense in the long
run is much greater.
Thanks
again,

I
just received my Litter-Robot, and I am simply
amazed that it actually works just as advertised. I
was the unfortunate owner of an supposedly automated
litter box called the Performa for six months. I
had to return this box which I paid nearly $200.00
for because the parts didn't even fit together! The
replacement never worked at all and I was thoroughly
disgusted and was very hesitant to purchase another automated
box, but after reading the forum sites
I decided to take the plunge.
My
kitty is kind of a shy cat and scares
easily, so I was a little worried that she would
not take to this box. But when I put it
together, which was very easy to do, and set
it by her old box filled with new litter, she
jumped right in and used it within the hour. I
decided to plug it in and let it run and much
to my surprise she ran up and put her paws
on the step to watch it run but it stopped
right away and she had to wait till it recycled again. She
is very happy and has no problem using this box, and
I love not having the mess!
Thank
you for making such a great product, it is worth
every penny that I paid for it. I would
happily recommend the Litter-Robot to any cat
owner!
Thank You,

Buying the Litter-Robot six months ago was the best
thing we've done as pet
owners. My teenage son wasn't thrilled to be
designated litter scooper, and he'd neglect the box
until either the house smelled or the cat rebelled
and left
gifts outside the box.
We had to invest in having the closet where the box
lives wired for electricity,
but, boy oh boy, was it worth it. The cat wouldn't
touch the Litter-Robot as long
as it was outside the closet, but as soon as we moved
it into place, it instantly became The Only Box In
Town. She hasn't missed once, and she's so happy
her box is always clean.
Changing the bag every few days is something my son
does happily as well. And we named it the Starship
Pooper affectionately, because it's a high-tech
solution to an age-old problem and we love it!

As
a new inventor myself I want to tell you how
much I appreciate your product on so many levels. Obviously,
the Litter-Robot had to go through many many
stages to get to the point that it is now. I
would LOVE to see the early prototypes!
Best
of all, you were able to keep things simple for
the design and manufacturing AND for the
users (both cats and people). I've owned
THREE LitterMaids and a Purrforma. Neither
of those catered to the fact that units
need to be cleaned. I won't even go into
the rant that I would like to. I'm sure
you've heard all the wonderful things said about
the "competition".
It's
amazing how many problems the Litter-Robot solves:
no rakes to clean, no ground-up waste in the
litter, no odor, large storage capacity, simple
setup, low noise, no special expensive containers
to buy, huge savings for litter purchases, no
jammed motors, and no unhappy cats!
THE
ONLY problem I have with the Litter-Robot is
that it is an online purchase only. Being
online only makes it way too easy to purchase
a LitterMaid first and suffer through the
consequences. By the way, I waited
an entire 2 days to have it delivered! ;) I'm
not even bothered by the price, which is a bargain
after purchasing over $500 worth of "cat
poop blenders" (what the LitterMaid
and Purrforma amount to).
Thanks
for a great great great product. Did I
mention that it's great? I can't say enough
about what you have done for this home and for
our 2 cats, Luna, and Hermione.
Litter-Robot
is paws down the absolute BEST cat box ever made!!
Sincerely,
Eric

Dear
Litter-Robot,
This is the best investment I've ever made.
Here was our problem. One of our three cats is
BLIND. Our biggest complaint with the blind cat
(Mi-Mi) was that, bless her heart, she couldn't cover
up her own poop sometimes. She would miss and
leave the box with it exposed. Naturally, it
was a bit smelly, and the other cats would boycott
our litter box as a result of the uncovered poop.
Enter Litter-Robot. The blind cat immediately
took to it. We just put all of the cats in the
bathroom together for a few hours. The blind
one heard what the other cats were doing, and could
smell the litter. She stepped right up and went
in! Ever since that day, we have had no more
unpleasant smells in our house! Even if Mi-mi
leaves the Litter-Robot without covering up her stuff,
the Litter-Robot just cycles it away within a few minutes. Every
time I hear the Litter-Robot start up, I am reminded
of what I great investment I made.
If you are skeptical about buying this machine, don't
be. If it works for our cats, one of which is
blind, it can work for yours.

Hello - just wanted to tell you (the Litter-Robot)
arrived safely and I LOVE IT. It is
everything I expected, and more! Since I travel
very often, I needed something
just like this.
The LitterMaid I had was awful and did not do the
trick at all. I was very dissatisfied with
the way the rake continually built up and clogged,
and the smell of the box was terrible after a couple
days.
My 2-year-old cat is just 9 lbs. and she took to
the Litter-Robot immediately -- she is actually quite
fascinated by the Litter-Robot!
Thanks for a great product!

Hello
Fellow Cat Lovers,
First, I'd like to say thanks to everyone else who
wrote a testimonial for the Litter-Robot. I was
seriously considering purchasing "the other" mechanical
litter box but, after reading other customers' experiences,
decided to avoid the apparent problems (perhaps saving
hundreds of dollars and months of frustration) as they
documented.
Simply stated, I am absolutely delighted with the quality,
ease of set-up and use of the Litter-Robot. I
travel frequently and I am, for the first time, comfortable
in knowing my cats always have a clean litter box.
OK...initially, my other cat-owing friends thought
I might be a little bit "cat crazy" to buy
an automatic litter box... yet they spend that much
on two or three pairs of shoes!
Bottom line...it is the best money I have ever spent
on my cats - not to mention myself.
Thanks for a great product!

My
husband and I have five cats -- and we had five
litter pans. You can imagine what a chore
it was to keep those pans clean and, I must admit,
we did not keep them as clean as we should and
could have.
The
last cat we acquired showed up on our front porch
one day and was used to having the whole outdoors
as his litter pan. Needless to say, he couldn't
grasp the concept of going in a pan that other
cats had used! So, he chose our dining room
as a place to go... After trying everything
to make him stop, we finally came to the conclusion
that he wouldn't go in a litter box that was anything
but spotless.
My
husband did a lot of research on automatic cleaning
litter boxes and told me that the Litter-Robot
was the only one he found that people said really
worked, but that it was a bit expensive. I
am a firm believer that you don't get something
for nothing so I talked him into taking the plunge.
It
has been worth every single cent we paid. And
in hindsight, it was NOT expensive when compared
to what you get. It's absolutely unbelievable. No
smell, no mess, so easy to clean. My husband
gets so excited when he hears it working, he runs
into the room to watch. And our cat uses
it and has stopped going to the bathroom in our dining
room!
Thank
you so much for making our lives so much easier
and for making our cats so much happier!

I love
the Litter-Robot!
It
took a lot of consideration before I decided to
pay out that much money to an unknown internet
company but I'm glad I did it.
When
I first unpacked it, it was twice as high as I
thought it would be and I was very concerned that
at least one of my cats would never try it because
he's such a scaredy cat. I started the
familiarization process by placing the Litter-Robot
in the family room (without litter) and I
fed them treats around it and just generally let
them get used to it and see that it wasn't scary. After some
days I placed the Litter-Robot where their
litter box originally was but I didn't plug it
in. I let them know that it was a litter
box by placing them in it and making scratching
motions in the litter. Periodically, I would
plug it in and let it cycle. When one would
get bold enough to investigate the noise, I
would hold one of them and use reassuring "reward" language
while the Litter-Robot was cycling, so that they
would know that it was a good thing.
I
decided not to allow another litter box because
it was not going to be an option and I didn't want
them to get used to NOT using the Litter-Robot. I
would cycle it myself forever, if I had to. Actually,
I only manually cycled it for one week before plugging
it in. I placed a box under the step as it
was a bit too wobbly for my scaredy cat but after
a few days I noticed him jumping over the box so
I took it out.
I
empty the litter tray about once a week. We
use much less litter and I even have worked down
to an inexpensive fragrance free litter. We
don't need the fragrance to try and hide litter
smells because the urine and feces no longer sit
in the litter growing germs and getting smelly!

I
had to drop you a note to tell you that the Litter-Robot
is the best thing since Ford invented the Automobile!!!
During the first couple of hours I wasn't so sure my
cats were going to like, or use, the Litter-Robot.
My younger cat just wanted to play in it. He kept pulling
the litter out the front and jumping in and out of
it. The older cat was a bit more skeptical, she had
to yell at it a bit, swat it a couple of times and
sit in it. It took a full day before everyone realized
the new toy was, in fact, the new potty.
Initially I left the old LitterMaid, unplugged, next
to the Litter-Robot, but I found both cats were using
the old box and just playing in the Litter-Robot. After
about 6 hours, I took the LitterMaid away. I spent
the rest of the day worrying that I had made a mistake
because neither cat was using the Litter-Robot. Finally
about 8:00 that evening the younger cat decided he
could no longer hold his bladder and we had successful
usage. The older cat, however, was not so easily enticed.
For some reason she just didn't want to potty in the
Litter-Robot. I was worried she would go on the carpet,
but decided to tempt fate and hope for the best...I
opted not put the old litter box back down. The next
morning I had a small present directly in front of
the Litter-Robot....no problem....I just picked it
up and put it in the Litter-Robot, and guess what??
SUCCESS!!! One day and one minor accident later we
have a new kitty potty.
I can honestly tell you that we could not be more pleased
with the Litter-Robot and your staff. The Litter-Robot
is 1000 times more sanitary than the LitterMaid and
much more quiet. I don't even mind changing the bags
out of the litter drawer. As for your staff...what
a super nice group. I received quick, courteous service
and I couldn't be more happy. Thank you all for everything.

I'm the one ..... with the cat who pooped
on the carpet everyday for a year.
Well, I got the Litter-Robot in January and at first
he refused to use it. Then he would pee in it only.
After about two weeks I decided to take drastic
measures. I locked him into my bedroom with just
the Litter-Robot and his food and water. I visited
him often but left him there for two weeks. At the
same time, we ripped up the carpet that he had been
pooping on. Zacheaus (the cat), once in the
room, didn't go to the bathroom for over 36 hours.
He was totally desperate but didn't want to go into
the Litter-Robot. Finally there was a breakthrough.
On the second day, he finally used it! Then after
him using it for two weeks I let him out, and life
has been great ever since. In five months, he has
only had ONE accident! And that was when the Litter-Robot
was kind of full. So now I empty it earlier. I just
wanted to give this update to let you know that the
Litter-Robot is a GREAT thing! It has changed my
life (and I have never written about a product in
this way before). Now I don't have to worry about
friends coming over and seeing poop on the floor.
Zacheaus is much happier and we are all so relaxed.
Thank you Litter-Robot!

Subject:
The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread AND The Ball
Point Pen!!
I
just wanted to write to tell you how incredibly
pleased we are with our new Litter-Robot!
We
have 4 cats ranging in age from 10 to 17 years
old. They're pretty fussy about clean boxes,
so it was a time-consuming and disgusting job
cleaning their boxes all the time. We tried
the LitterMaid, in fact we went through 4 of
them with returns and all, and they were totally
ineffective for us (they always jammed, stopped,
then burned out).
We
were not sure our cats would adjust to a "hooded" type
box, since they've never had one. Well,
we got the box about a week ago and took their
old boxes away "cold turkey"...risky
for such old cats I thought. We put the
Litter-Robot in the same location as the old
boxes had been, but left it unplugged to run
manually so the cats wouldn't get spooked by
the noise. By the end of the first day
all of our cats had used the box. By day
3 we were leaving the box plugged in all the
time. The cats use it without fail, and
the noise doesn't bother them at all...and they
have seen it running.
The
unit itself is amazingly efficient! It
removes the waste without intervention from us,
and the whole house smells clean, even with the
waste in the lower receptacle. We empty
the receptacle daily, but could probably go every
other day. We just don't want to have it
in there for more than a day at a time. We
just love that we don't have to buy any expensive
receptacle liners too...the plastic grocery bags
work perfectly!
Thank
you so much for such a wonderful product. I
hope you can mass-market these to stores like
PETsMART soon and put a few million in your bank
account! You deserve it!
Thanks
again,

Free at last, free at last...!!!
Being a gadget guy who always
dreaded cat box duty (no pun intended), I have always
sought a better solution for me and my 17-year old
cat, Fidget.
Two years ago, I thought I found it with the LitterMaid
Mega. It was better than the manual method, but
the rake kept getting clogged and that resulted in
either the whole mechanism jamming, or lots of clean
cat litter being dumped into the receptacle with the
clumps. I love the World's Best Cat Litter, but
that LitterMaid was going through 17-pound of WBCL
every 2 weeks, which equates to about $50 per month!! I
thought other litters would work better, but after
trying all of them, they didn't fair any better.
I got online to research possible
solutions, and came upon the NBC rave
review. After reading it and the other testimonials,
and studying the website, I was sold on the product. Yes,
