My last cat passed away and he loved the Litter Robot
(well, I loved
it and he used it). When I went and adopted a kitten he wanted
nothing to do with it. The noise and the closed space really scared
him.
What I did was I put a traditional litter box next
to the Litter Robot and unplugged it. I let him use
the regular litter box but
never cleaned it. It got full and soon he started to explore the LR
which of course was clean. Soon he started using the LR and I would
cycle it when he wasn't around. Then he started using the LR
exclusively and would even sit and watch it cycle after he was done.
Now, a year later all is well and he uses it all
the time. I only have to change the trash bag once
a week, even longer if I have to. It
really is a set it up and forget it product.

I tried tidy cat, fresh
step and cat attract and the cat still would not
use the litter box. I was about
to give up when I went to kroger and bought the cedar
fresh with cat attract in it made by ultra-pet. So
I took it home and put it in the litter box and to
my
surprise- the cat used the box. Im am so happy and
I'm not going to return the litter box.
Thanks,
Mark

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.
I spend months trying to train
my young cat with the Litter Kwitter toilet training
system. After a ton of time cleaning up after misfires
using very expensive solution for cat urine, I decided
to explore another option. I came across this product
and line. This is where I should have spend my time
and money in the first place (actually, no time was
involved in making this switch). The trial period
was a big selling point for me so I took the leap.
What
did I have to lose? I am so glad a trial period was
offered or I would have never spend that kind of money
on a litter box and my home would still smell like
a litter box.
I highly recommend this system and
if it doesn't work for your cat like it did for mine,
simply return it. I am considering purchasing one
for
my cat loving mother for Christmas (some gift,
huh...a litter box?? but she would love it)!!!

My wife and I recently purchased your product after
getting tired of replacing our littermaid every year
for the past two years at a $100.00 a pop. I didn't
even know your product existed until I researched online
for something different.
I have to admit it was a little
pricey for a pooper scooper but after watching several
videos of it doing its thing online and reading a
boatload of positive customer reviews I was sold especially
with the 60 day money back guarantee and the 18 month
warranty I figured to let the cats give it a try. We
have two cats ones a domestic and the other is a
siamese. When I received it and got it together, Midnight
our
domestic cat couldn't wait to get in it and do his
business. Now Andy on the other hand was a little
skittish at first and only wanted to pee in it and
poop on the
step going in to it. So I cut it off for a couple
of days so he could get better aquatinted with it and,
low and behold - it worked and he started pooping on
the
inside
of it .
Now its on automatic and it works like
a
charm -as for as pooper scoopers go .All in all
were pretty impressed it so for -money well spent!!!
Sincerely,
David and Crissy

Dear Litter Robot People:
We are thrilled with our robot and even more thrilled
with your customer service. We had a problem 3 days
ago and I called and left a message.
I really never expected a call back so quickly and
was even more delighted that the person on the phone
knew exactly what to do and even more, guessed the
cause of the problem. Our parts arrived today and in
5 minutes were were up and running again.
Nowadays most companies don't even return your call,
let alone have someone who actually knows the product
and how to solve the problem.
I congratulate you for running a superb business and
making a well thought out product.
Sincerely,
Dan

Over three month ago we received our Robo. Not one
glitch, not one
hangup, not one malfunction. Two cats, we empty twice
a week - though I
think it could be emptied once - but the Boss sayeth
twice.
Buddy our
larger cat went into it immediately and both cats watched
it like a TV
for several days then lost interest when it would cycle.
Abby preferred
her old box for about two weeks, then she decided she
too would use the
new Magic Box. Now life is Grand and so easy.
We tried
two other
brands in the past, and they were always jamming up
and you had to clean
the rakes which would break the clumps apart. Robo
does it perfect. I
haven't even cleaned the top section since we received
it. but I don"t
feel bad because it is not dirty in any way.
Thanks
for a great product.

Good morning,
I am soooooooooo happy with the litter
robot. I can't believe how well it works. It took
our cats and kitten
less then a week to get everyone to use it. I have
one cat (which was a ferial) that loves to stand
on the step and watch it go around.
For more than
20 years we always had ten to twelve cats at
home and the same amount of little boxes which were
a pain to keep clean. Everyone called our house cat
central so if you found a lost kitty it came
to
our
house. I just wish I knew about this litter robot
earlier. Life would have been so easy thank you
thank you for this great invention. I tell everyone
who
has a kitty they should send for one.

We have two cats in our house that use the same box, so it “piles” up
pretty quickly.
I have asthma which is accentuated by my cats and their litter, leaving
only my wife to clean the litterbox.
I felt bad for her, as sometimes she did not have the time to clean the
litterbox after every cat visit, which would lead to me breaking out in
hives and my breathing would get difficult.
I searched the internet for an automated litterbox, but my wife was skeptical,
as one of her friends used to have the automated rake type boxes that just
didn’t do the job right all the time, because the rake would get
coated in wet litter which would lead to the mechanism getting jammed.
I found the litter-robot website and showed my wife the video on how it
worked. She didn’t like it, mainly because she thought the cats could
get stuck inside or it was probably made cheaply and the price was too
high. I tried to convince her that the it was safe because of the sensors
and that it seemed to be made well, plus, we would save money from not
having to lose as much litter as we do when scooping… she still said
no.
I went behind her back, like any caring husband would and placed the order
for the litter-robot (when it became available in Canada). When I brought
it home, my wife was upset; until, that is, when I set it up (Which was
as simple as putting the round part on the base and pushing a button).
Our cats took to it immediately, which was a relief, and we put it to work
right away.
One year later, our litter-robot is still working hard doing the dirty
work and my wife could not be happier.
I would recommend the Litter-Robot to anyone who owns a cat. In my house,
it is an irreplaceable appliance that needs little attention and time,
but returns so much.
Now, if they would make one for dogs….
Thank you so much for such an incredible appliance.
Kind Regards,
Greg and Rhonda

This
is BY FAR the best invention ever created. We just
purchased out litter robot at the beginning
of March and we love it. We have 3 cats (2 adults,
1 kitten). Our oldest took to it like a fish to water.
The other adult & kitten were a little hesitant
at 1st but after about 2 days it was no issue. I
followed the directions in the book on how to get
your cats accustomed to the unit and now everyone
is on board!
My husband & I used to scoop daily
and fully change 2 litter boxes weekly (even though
you can let it go for a month). Now, we change the
bag 2x per week, wash the tray once & let the
litter robot do the rest. I'll say it again.... this
is by far the best invention ever created. It's cleaner,
healthier and a time saver. I also don't have to
keep several litter boxes anymore. Worth the cost!!!
You guys should develop one of those 'priceless'
commercials.
Cat adoption fee $100.00
Cat litter $11.99
Cat food $ 9.99
Litter Robot...never having to scoop poop again: PRICELESS
!
Thanx guys, great job!

26, 2008 I bought a litter robot in December of 2007. I loved it immediately, but
one of my two cats refused to take to it. Eloise started urinating in my
office, on her scratching post etc. and she was doing other things too.
After much frustration, I called the support center who recommended 'cat
attract' litter. I tried this, and it wasn't enticing enough for my little
Eloise.
In the end, I outsmarted my cat by bringing back her old litter box. At
first I placed it directly next to the litter robot. Then I moved it across
from the litter robot. Then I gradually increased the height of the old
litter box so that it was the same height as the litter robot. After many
weeks, I kept increasing the height of the old litter-box so that it was
extremely hard for her to get to. Then I put a step (a shoebox) on the
litter robot. Now both of my cats use it and I am really happy. I hope
someone else may benefit from this method of 'training'.
BTW. I LOVE the litter robot. It's the best electric litter-box I have
had. Previously, I tried several of the litter maid--but the motors kept
dying within 6 months. I also tried the Purr-forma. It was a messy nightmare
and took up so much space.
Warm regards,
Agnes

Hello,
I wanted to share how VERY happy I am with your
product, the Litter Robot!! I initially purchased
another automatic
litter box that only used
crystal litter. What a huge mistake that was because the smell was unbearable,
the cat urine was soaking wet in the bottom of the tray. So, I returned
it and then did my homework. Should have done more research to begin
with but with a multiple cat household (3 kitties),
I really wanted to stop
being a slave to the litter box and knew that I wanted an automatic litter
box.
Well, the Litter Robot is just the best!!! I was hesitant
because of the price, but it is well worth every penny.
In fact, I think it will
save me a lot of money because you use a lot less litter. And, best of
all, you can use regular clumping litter, not that
super-expensive crystal litter.
For anyone with a muli-cat household, this Litter Robot is a must. You
will be so happy you own one. Even for a single cat, it would be ideal.
You simply just open the drawer and tie up the bag of waste and pop in
a new plastic garbage bag and your done!!
My cats adjusted
without any problem
and because they share a litter box, they seem to like having a fresh
box to step into each time they use it. Thank you
for such a great product
- I will always have a Litter Robot in my home!!

This litter box is one of the best investments in
pet products we have made. With four large cats we
were scooping our old box every day, now it is simply
changing a bag every other day. After a short adjustment
period, where they learned it wasn't the new place
to hang out, it's been fantastic. We have had them
unbalance the machine a few times, but all it takes
to fix that is a gentle shake to level the litter
off and it's working like normal. The only difficult
thing about the litter robot is deciding which is
most appreciated, the odor reduction, not having
to scoop, or the always clean litter. Either way,
it makes for happy cats and happy cat people.

I belong to "Catster" (community
for cat lovers) and we just lost our beloved two
cats within a day of each other before Thanksgiving....I
said 'no more for a long time'...well, within three
short weeks I rescued a white kitty less than a year
old and then that same day found a little orange
kitty...our net friends at Catster were so happy
we adopted two more, they gave us a 'virtual' kittybabyshower...
there were 408 real people who gave money for the
kittybabyshower
and one of the things bought for us was your Litter-Robot
(the rest of the money was donated to a local shelter).
What an invention!!!! It is amazing!! We love it!!!
My white kitty, Gibbs, is already large so he trips
the switch easily but little Cash is so tiny he does
not.. No problem..I just hit the button for him
and it is clean!!! I told my husband last night that
it was like not having kitties at all....no more
messy clean up or smell!!!! We just get to enjoy
the love they give us and we are lucky enough to
give back!
Thank you inventors of litter-robot!!! We love you
guys..by the way, I ordered another one last week!!!
Now they each have their own!!

I want to mention that I did have trouble with my
Bot 1 twice. Each time the staff was helpful and
very knowledgeable when I talked with them on phone
and e-mail. I returned the unit and got quick service
and repair. These folks do seem to really want to
build the best product possible. They do take customer
advice into their product redesigns.
But I would like to see a measuring line either
outside or inside, as I ways feel like I might be
overloading it. I do have a trick to share for my
model . The used litter does tend to want to stay
in in a pile, which is problematic when you open
the drawer. I had an old elastic band that was made
to hold plastic trash bag in the plastic can. Well,
I wrapped it around the drawer all the way on the
outside around the 2 corners and the bag seems to
hold tighter. I use 15 gal kitchen bags. The waste
doesn't seem to pile up from the bag sagging. An
easy and cheap fix. Hopefully not a problem with
the LR 2.
Truthfully, just can't wait to see what LR3 will
be like. Back

Let's be honest - scooping litter boxes is truly
the worst chore! After years of scooping, we heard
about the litter robot from a family member. I did
a lot of research on the internet and I did not find
one single bad review on this product. In fact, quite
the opposite - rave reviews on every site I found!
After reading these reviews and seeing the demonstration
on the litter robot website, we were sold! We received
it just yesterday and set it up immediately. Our
two cats were so curious about it; we could barely
get it set up before they were trying to get in!
They both used it right off the bat, and we watched
it do its "thing" seven minutes later -
like two kids with a new toy!! I have no doubts that
it is going to be worth every penny and I have been
spreading the word to all cat lovers that I know.
Thank you automated pet care products for such a
great invention - finally! No more doing "paper-rock-scissors" to
decide who's going to clean out the litter box! Ha!

I have three cats, and two loved it from the get
go and one just refused to use it, would go on the
floor next to it. So I did what I did when I trained
her as a kitten. She had to stay in the spare bathroom,
which is big by the way I love my kitties, when I
was not home. But I let the other two run the house
without their buddy. Then she could come out when
I was at home, and everytime I saw one of her sisters
using it I would show her it was ok. It took a week
and she was convinced she didn't like being separated
from her sisters. Now she uses it all the time, I
think it just stressed her out as she hates changes.
But now she is the one who sits there and watches
it cycle when she is done her deposit. Be patient
with your kitties, it took mine two weeks to get
it together.

I think this is a great machine. I have 3 sibling
cats and had been searching for a mechanized catbox
that really worked well. I'd been through 2 Littermaid
Mega boxes. The first worked adequately, though the
waste compartment was too small. The new and "improved" elite,
which I bought after the first one died, was junk.
I researched other options and then decided to take
a chance on the Litter-Robot. The 60day return guarantee
was what convinced me to give it a try.
I have two males, an 18lb bubba, a 15lb fellow who
is terrified of strangers, and a persnickety 9lb female.
The 15lb scaredy cat took to the Litter-Robot immediately
(surprise!), the other two were reluctant (the female
acting like it was some kind of trap) and continued
to use the tiny manual catbox I'd purchased as a stop-gap.
I was sure I was going to have to send the Litter-Robot
back when they still wouldn't use it after the other
box got incredibly nasty and they'd eliminated elsewhere.
I changed it once more and tried again. Long story
short, they both finally switched over, with 3 weeks
left in the 60 day period.
My little one isn't always heavy enough to trip the
sensor but no big deal. A tap of my foot, or if she's
followed by one of her brothers, does the trick. It
is very easy to maintain and the waste drawer has a
large capacity so that even with the three I don't
have to empty it frequently. I highly recommend this
box!

It continues to work beautifully everyday. My kitties love it, I love it,
my wife loves it. What an ingenious solution to a dirty problem.

I waited a few months before submitting my testimonial
to really give the Litter Robot a thorough looking
over. The product meets, and possibly exceeds, all
my expectations. I have two older cats (11 and 12 years
old) . I was a little worried about their transition
to the box. They are also rather large cats, about
15 pounds each. They have had no problems at all and
seem to prefer the Litter Robot over their traditional
covered box. My life is now significantly improved
and I enjoy my cats more. I have gone from having to
scoop litter daily, to just changing the bag once a
week. Best of all, there is no odor. Thank you for
such an excellent product! It was money well spent
for me. If I have any suggestions it would be to design
a slightly larger version for those of us with big
cats. I feel that especially your repeat customers
would be interested in such a product.

I
cannot tell you how happy I am with my Litter Robot.
We have
two cats and after a rather slow start they have taken
to it so
well. There is hardly any odor (the only time I have
that is when
the big guy doesn't turn around and his hind end hangs
out, but
that happens very seldom) My husband actually thought
they must
be going somewhere else because he couldn't smell the
box.
I change it 2 times a week instead of scooping
2 boxes 2-3 times
a day. Emma my shy kitty watched it intently as Sam,
AKA the big
guy went in to explore. I started out with kitty treats
in
there. Emma wasn't buying it. Sam, however would do anything
for
a treat. Then we tried litter. Sam kept looking for treats
and
wasn't going in there for doing his business. Then I
took away
one box. They doubled up on the other. Then I tried Cat
Attract.......... a very pricey litter that is supposed
to attract
the kitties. Not my guys, not in the least, finally Leslie
at
Litter Robot, said take away the other box and just see
what
happens. Well I waited all day and NOTHING happened.
I was Very
concerned. Then my hubby came home and we went out to
eat and I
forgot to bring in the other cat box. Guess what I came
home and
they were both relieved to have used it "with a
little privacy if
you please" That following them in to see if they
would use it
was discouraging them. Duh, it would me if someone followed
me to
the toilet.
I am already noticing the savings I will
get on cat litter (after
using up the expensive stuff) They have been using
it for about 3
weeks, I have added to it two times. Scraped off a
little clump
one time. I throw baking soda into the tray/bag to
assure odor
control, but that may not even be needed. I rinse out
the drawer
about every other time unless Sam has done his down
the front
deal. But I think he is figuring it out now. Thanks
Litter Robot,
my marriage is happier and so am I.

20, 2008 We have 3 cats, two rather robust individuals
and have been loyal
Littermaid customers for several years. We purchased
the Littermaid Mega Elite about six months ago. What
a disappointment that was. In search of a better alternative,
I began doing research on different litter systems. Yours
seemed to be the most well engineered system from a functional
standpoint just from the basic physics. I was a little
concerned with the price, but with the 60-day guarantee,
I felt we had little to lose.
We have had it for almost
two weeks and I must say this is the most efficient litter
system I have ever seen! Our 3 cats love it! For the
first few days, I kept going in to add litter to find
that it didn't require any. That was a big surprise from
the Littermaid model. The way the drum rotates and completely
cycles the litter top to bottom not only saves litter
but makes sure there is no waste left in the drum. Even
the litter tracking is less than the Littermaid and is
much more quiet in its operation. For anyone who has
the Littermaid and is concerned with the Litter Robot's
noise scaring your cats, don't bother being worried.
You can
barely hear this one cycling. Good job guys! Your invention
is worth every penny!!

Well, I look at this purchase very much like I did
another purchase I recently made…Yes it is Overpriced;
and I guess this purchase would be one of those instances
that my GrandDad always called “an incident where
two fools met”. However I am tickled to death
with my purchase as is my wife (who always took care
of the litter box chores).
My 2 cats were inside the thing within 6 hours of
setting it up and I didn’t even need to leave
it turned off until they got used to it… the
Litter Box Odor is now a thing of the past (I covered
the
holes
in the shelf/timer trigger with some transparent 3
inch wide parcel tape because I could see how the odors
could easily escape). I have had my box for about a
week now and haven’t seen the need to even empty
the drawer yet.
I know it is waaay to expensive but
if you ever can find a way to get one I am sure that
you won’t be disappointed. I look at it this
way… if I can afford to part with the money for
3 months and can survive, it will be well worth the
investment around my house. I am sure that over time
it will become even more of a godsend. My wife and
I aren't fighting as much now either. My cats
are tickled to death as well. We are using less than
half the amount of litter as before I figure too. Barry

I have had 3 different Litter Maids over the years
and and they have continually gotten worse in quality.
I was so fed up with them! Then I read a review on
Amazon.com about the LitterRobot. I went to your site
and read the testimonials and decided to try it since
it had such a good return policy.
I love this litter
box. It did not take long to get my cats to go in
it and they seem to like it a lot There is absolutely
no
mess at all! How refreshing! A litter box that works!
AND I don't have to buy those expensive, polluting
receptacles. I only have to change the bag once a week
with two
cats.
Thank you for inventing a great product. I am
telling all my friends with cats about this.

We received our Litter Robot at the end of January,
having considered it for almost a year. Because of
the high cost, I chose a reconditioned unit. The unit
arrived in excellent condition. Setup is as easy as
advertised, and the unit is very easy to keep clean.
We have ten cats, and only 3 are not using the robot
at this time. The house never has a cat odor any more,
and we are using a fraction of the litter with a fraction
of the tracking that we had in the past.
As a suggestion for some who have still noticed an
odor, I found Ruffies color scents trash bags (8 gallon,
76/bag) for under $4.00 at Wal-Mart. The scent seems
to be just enough to take care of any residual odors
you might have.
Even with 10 cats, the litter box chore is now just
one small bag out to the trash each night. This cat
box probably saves me more time than my dishwasher.
Thanks
Litter Robot.

I already have a testimony in there some place. Just
want to let you know, we did a complete cleaning of
the LRII today (could have waited one more month after
looking at it and cleaning it). Piece of cake!! I stuck
it in the shower and rinsed with warm water. 10 minutes
later I was done. It is
drying right now (I just turned the heat on in the
bathroom and put a fan in front of the drum to circulate
the air).
Also, the best part of all is we only add 2.5-4 cups
of litter (measured) 2 times a week (we have two cats
that use the LRII pretty heavily). The maximum time
allotted between emptying the tray is 4.5 days for
two cats. WE LOVE THIS MACHINE.

I have had 2 different litter maids in the last 1
1/2 yrs....both were a horrible mess to clean and just
stopped working. Having multiple cats, I was unsure
as to how they would re-act to this machine. My first
one came and within just several days...they were using
it. No smells and very little tracking outside of the
dome. It worked so well that I have ordered a second
unit for another room......I love this...and even with
multiple cats using each unit, I only need to empty
the drawer about every 3 days or so....
It also keeps dogs out of dirty litter!!!
Thank You!

I just have to give you my vote. Having three cats
in the house, I spend a lot of time cleaning the
litter box. The cost was also a great factor. I was
spending about $30.00 to $40.00 a month. At one of
my client's house I noticed the box and bought one.
The amount of money and time it had saved me was
worth the initial outlay. Every 3 months I would
pull it apart and clean the housing, which was not
really dirty ( I just like my cats to have a clean
bathroom).
Just wanted to say thank you for a great product,
kudos to the inventor.

We're very happy with the Litter-Robot. We have
three older (and one of them larger - about 16 lbs)
indoor cats. I was a "litter" concerned
that the old cats wouldn't learn new tricks and that,
based on Litter-Robot's "literature",
the big lunk just might not fit. However, life is
good in the kitty bathroom. Two of the cats caught
on within a couple weeks. The big guy was slower:
after a "litter"
while longer he started using the Litter-Robot for #1 but #2'd on the floor
along side the Litter-Robot. After some timely and friendly suggestions
from Shirley with Automated Pet Care Products Customer Service (clean out
the inside of the globe and try using Cat Attract brand litter) and, for
a while, putting the old-fashioned litter box alongside (to keep #2 off
the floor), the lunk caught on. This
revelation occurred only a few days before the 60-day money-back return
policy expired. I put away the old litter box and after a few weeks switched
back to a more economical litter. The Litter-Robot and the cats have been
doing what they're supposed to ever since (about 4 additional months).
Occasionally, when we're out of the house for a few days, I put the old
litter box back alongside for a "litter" extra capacity, but
they choose (except maybe for a couple #1's) to use the Litter-Robot. So,
the moral of the story is -- be patient and seek help from the masters
if your cats are not cooperating.
One benefit that we were hoping for that has worked
out nicely: We have a small indoor dog that has a
disgusting habit of getting into the cats' litter
box for a little snack (uuugh!). We've trained her
to stay away, but still leave her in a separate part
of the house when we're gone since she occasionally
falls off the wagon. With the Litter-Robot, the "treats" are
swept away a few minutes after they're
produced, reducing (almost eliminating) the likelihood that our dog will
find anything if she looks.
I'm the one who used to have the daily chore of
scooping two litter boxes (we used to have 5 indoor
cats). Having just one "box" that does
the scooping for me is a real treat. Don't deceive
yourself though, there is still maintenance involved.
With three cats, I change out the tray bag about
every two days (I probably could go three) and you
do have to supplement the "clean" litter
every few days. (Maybe Litter-Robot III will empty
the tray, take the bag out to the trash, and add
more clean litter!!) All in all, I'm extremely happy
with the Litter-Robot and highly recommend it. It's
on the high end, price-wise, but it's also on the
high end, performance-wise, so if you can afford
it, buy it! Based on our experience, you won't be
disappointed.

Even though I returned the one I bought a year ago
because one of the cats just wouldn't use it, I recommended
it today to someone else:
"I bought one of these for Christmas a year ago
and she loved it - provided odor control and prevented
the dog from "snacking". Unfortunately, one
of the cats would not use it, even though they offer
a progressive training regimen to get older cats to
adapt, so we returned it after a few weeks. They have
a no questions asked return policy (less the shipping
costs) so I stand by the company. Not cheap ($300),
but it really works. I saw one at someone's house before
I bought it. Unlike the "raking" ones that
get gunked up, this worked consistently."

After years of frustration from scooping out conventional
litter boxes, I went online investigating automatic
litter boxes. I wasn't thrilled with the reviews of
other automatic boxes. I stumbled across Litter-Robot
online, but dismissed it due to the high cost. I came
back, however, and began reading reviews. After reading
about the payment plan and all the great reviews, I
decided to order. This product is fabulous!!!. We have
3 cats, and my male cat used it within 20 secs. My
larger cat, over 12 lbs, used it within the first day
with no issues. We have one last cat that is taking
some convincing, although she took convincing to use
a litter box in the first place.
My male cat is so fascinated, that ever time he hears
it start up, he runs into the laundry room to watch
it. Sometimes he tries to climb in, but it stops immediately.
My only suggestion for improvement is to put a sixth
grommet in the front to hold the bag. Otherwise it
is perfect!!!

Hi,
I just want to say that it took my girls about 10 days to start using the "Bot" but
use it they did ... I feel like singing like Julie Andrews on the mountaintop.
I finally had to take away their old box (the cold turkey method) and sprinkled
Cat Attract on the litter which worked like a magnet - amazing. I also
think because of the styling of the "bot" my one won't be ambushing
the other. I'm thrilled is an understatement.
I think the whole system is pretty darn amazing,
and the look of the black Star Wars model is very
sleek. The delivery box was pretty scary ... I thought
you sent a trainer along with the "bot" but,
no, it just was a great packing job. The unit itself
is not huge, about the size of a kitchen trash can.
I've read about the noise and to that I say "what
noise?", it is very quiet. I am impressed.
I, like many others, contemplated yet another litter
box discovery, asking myself how much more will I
spend in search of the perfect box? I made one more
investment and it's the best money I've spent. Clean
litter, no daily dumping, scraping, etc., no smell
(I've put baking soda in the trash bag just in case)
is it worth the investment - you can bet your cat's
butt on that LOL As one person stated, now if it
will only take the stuff outside, it would be a perfect
world.
Again, thank you for coming up with such a great
product, sleek, well made and does the job. I will
continue to monitor my 2 cats to make sure they are
getting used to the "bot" and hopefully,
by next weekend it will be set on automatic.

Hello there,
I have been trying to submit feedback for my Litter
robot for
the past
six months, but my computer does not support Outlook
Express. I
hope
that I can get feedback to you this way.
Firstly I live in the Uk and found it very difficult
to obtain a
Litter-robot. Eventually I was able to buy one
from you from your
European distribution center at a great price.
I have 4 cats - two Singapuras, one Birman and
a Siamese and
they are
all house cats. I previously bought 3 littermaids
and they all went
wrong due to damaged circuit boards.
It was impossible to send them back to the manufacturer
from the UK,
so I searched the web and found the litter robot.
I have had mine for six months now, and cannot
praise it highly
enough. The cats took to it straight away, there
is absolutely no
smell and it uses far less litter than the Littermaids
(I use
the Worlds Best Cat Litter).
This machine has been a godsend - thank you so
much for inventing it!
Best regards,
Marion Woodham,

All I can say is WOW! The Litter Robot surpassed my
every expectation. Initially my 2 cats were very reluctant
to go near the Litter Robot. Lo and behold after following
the advice given in manual, within 3 days they were
happily using the Litter Robot. One of the best decisions
I’ve every made!!!

Hello, just wanted to let you know that I received
my Litter Robot and my cat has started using it.
My cat is a fully grown Persian cat female, about
7 years
old. My cat's been using it for about 2 weeks now and no major problems
to report.
Comments:
1. When I received the box, I was surprised. The shipping box was huge!
But once I took the Litter Robot out of the box and assembled it, it
wasn't that big.
2. My cat started using it within 24 hours, didn't
require much persuasion. But the sensor did not activate
after my cat used it and had to adjust the sensor
by rotating it twice. Now it works perfectly.
3. It's a little noisy for my taste but it's in
another room so it doesn't bother me while I'm sleeping.
4. It appears to be solidly built. I had horrible
experience with another litter box cleaner. They
usually broke with less than a month of use. I'm
hoping Litter Robot will last much longer than that.
I'll give you a feedback later this year to see how
this product is holding up.
Best Regards,
S. A.

I love the Litter Robot!!! I have arthritis, and it
makes my life so much easier. My cat was nervous about
it at first, so I left it off until he had used it
a few times. Once I turned it on, he was once again
nervous, but seemed to get over the noise pretty quickly.
Now, he actually likes to make it go, so he will use
the box. Watch it do its thing, and then go right back
in to make it happen again. He is obsessed with it.
Usually, after the third time, he gets bored and moves
on until the next time he needs to use it, and then
the cycle starts all over. He cracks me up! Thanks
for such a great invention!

I tried several other methods for our three cats once
they migrated inside the house after years of using
the great outdoors for their needs. Nothing worked
well enough. No litter box was clean enough—the
litter kept traces of the cats’ business and
had to be entirely changed quite frequently in order
to remain acceptable by my standards.
Then I found
a site that described the litter robot and I decided
to purchase one. What an ingenious machine! You have
to see it work to believe it. I am amazed at how clean
the litter has remained after nearly two weeks of use.
All I need to do is add litter every once in a while.
The box is close to being odorless, too. And I am so
grateful that I can place a regular garbage bag in
the drawer without having to worry about soiling my
hands or spilling anything when I empty the drawer.
Our cats took to the box within a day. I didn’t
need to coax them at all. It’s funny to watch
how each cat uses it. I guess I never realized how
very particular cats can be. They are definitely clean,
and they deserve the cleanest, most efficient litter
machine around.

I had been told by a friend that this "automatic" litter
box really did work but didn't decide to try it for
quite some time. I thought maybe my cats were too
big or there were too many or they might not aim
right once inside. But finally I broke down and bought
one and we love it!! Cats do too.
We are a cattery and
have had five females and several kittens using
it on manual mode. Now that the kittens
are leaving we will go to automatic mode. Although
I have several other litter boxes they definitely
used this one a lot and I'm now planning to get
2-3 more and replacing other boxes.

We just got our litter robot this month! Let me
start out by saying, I've been the one on litter
box duty for years now. No matter how fun I seem
to try to convince my husband it is, he doesn't seem
excited to change them? HAHAHA With 7 cats, and 3-4
standard boxes, it was quite a smelly chore. The
temptation was always there though whenever I passed
an automatic kitty box in PetSMart stores.. looked
too good to be true....One day my husband Chris said
to me while researching boxes on the net.. "hey
honey, what color do you want on the screen? black
or beige? to which I replied..."white." no,
no he said.. "black or beige??" "fine,
beige I guess.." I wasn't too impressed.. and
went back to cleaning my house.. (housework never
ends right??)
After our litter robot arrived (while I was at work),
my husband (who had a day off) eagerly set it up...doing
everything the manual said to do to introduce our
kitties to it... they took to it immediately...my
husband is so impressed and fascinated with this
neat gadget, he now takes care of EVERYTHING!! I
pretend
I'm not mechanically inclined and don't know anything
about his new toy yet... lol and I haven't touched
litter since!!

ps. don't be surprised if our kitties order another
one from your site!!

We bought your product because I have a cat that
does not want to use a dirty box, and she sprays
the hood of the litter box, so other automated litter
boxes would not have worked for us. This was the
perfect solution. This product is so easy to assemble
and operate and is very well built. There was certainly
a lot of thought that went into the design of this
product. We love it
The moment we set it up the first of our three cats
entered and had no problem figuring out what to do.
If fact, it is not only a litter box, it is a source
of constant amusement. As soon as it cycles, they
gather to watch. For the first few weeks one of the
cats stopped the unit continuously as it proceeded
through the cycle by stepping on the entry step and
peering inside. Then I added a small step stool in
front of it and now she sits on the stool to watch
the inside and does interrupt the cleaning cycle.
We would like to see a larger unit for the longer
cat. We have a very long cat that has to go through
quite a contortion to use it. Despite that, she loves
it!

I can't say enough good things about the Litter-Robot.
I adopted a 10 year old, 19-lbs cat and was a little
concerned that he might not want to use it (something
new and it made sounds), or that he was going to
be a little too large to use it. I set it up in the
same location that his old [covered] litter box had
been and mixed a little of his old/used litter with
a newer brand of kitty litter. I started the cycle
to get everything properly sifted and aligned. I
then went about my evening as if nothing had changed.
I did notice a little bit of curiosity on the cats
part, so I started the "cycle" so he could
see it and hear it while I was there with him. A
few hours later while the cat was sitting on my lap,
I heard a strange noise and noticed that the Litter-Robot
had come to life. Ahhh, the sweet sound of success.
I travel occasionally for work and prior to this
purchase I noticed how quickly the standard litter
box had filled up and how unwilling the cat was to
use it if there was not a clean area to “GO…” With
the Litter-Robot, the good is separated from
the bad and the cat is happy, I am happy and clean
up is a breeze. I use inexpensive trash bags to line
the drawer and when it is time to empty, I just turn
them inside out and take them outside to the trash.
When the cycle starts, the noise is minimal and barely
noticeable in my small 1 bedroom apartment.
After reading so many helpful automated litter box
reviews on Amazon, I was pleased to find information
about the Litter-Robot™ that guided me towards
a purchase.

I bought the Litter-Robot a few months ago for my
2 Birmans. I had no trouble getting them to use it.
As I expected, the adult male was the first to use
it as he is more adventurous than his mother. But
a few days after he used it, I saw her use it and
out went the litter box. There has been no trouble
with it ever since.
Zen, the male cat, finds the device fascinating.
He watches the cycle with total attention. He has
learned that if he puts his paws on the sensor during
the cycle it stops andd if he takes them off it continues.
So every once and a while we have a 5 minute cycle.
It doesn’t harm the machine and it makes Zen
happy.
I should mention that these are fairly large cats.
Zen is 15 pounds and fairly long, but he has no trouble
using the Litter-Robot. It certainly makes me happy,
as bending over to scoop litter is difficult for
me. Pulling out the drawer every 5-6 days is a lot
easier.
Highly recommended.

Can I be thrilled with a product only after a week
of use? I have three cats and two dogs who have a
peculiar taste for the contents of the litter box.
Needless to say, trying to find a location for the
boxes that only the cats can access, while maintaining
sanitary conditions in the house, has been a challenge.
Enter the Litter Robot. I was stunned at how easy
it was to put together, but I pulled the first litter “bag” out
by mistake, thinking it was packing. It went back
in easily, and we were good to go. After setting
it up the evening it arrived, the first cat used
it within an hour, and the second early the following
morning. Their curiosity really did it – they
couldn’t wait to get in the thing!
I cycled it myself for a couple of days, turning
it on and off in front of the cats so they wouldn’t
be startled by it when it ran. Upon leaving it plugged
in, however, it seemed that it cycled extremely frequently.
Coincidentally, the dogs would disappear for a while,
then sneak into their beds, back and forth all evening,
with the LR going off every seven minutes! The cats
were nowhere in sight. I went into the laundry room
to see what might be going on. You guessed it --
the dogs were triggering the globe, looking for a
snack! I’d rather have the thing run a few
extra times than deal with the dogs’ bad eating
habits.
I will be ordering a second unit. My third cat stays
in another part of the house, and will be getting
her own for her birthday. I rave about your product
to all my cat-owning friends – especially the
ones who initially told me about it, but were reluctant
to buy one themselves!
I’m still so surprised that such an unusual
product solves the cat litter problem so elegantly!
I wish your business every success.

I received my Litter Robot the day before Christmas.
I wondered what I was getting into when the BIG box
arrived - but assembly
was a breeze and the cats were curious.
Our black
cat Edward took to it right away. In fact, he is
mesmerized by it - watching
it go around, and stepping on the step to stop
it when he wants a closer look inside - kitty entertainment.
We have one Birman
that doesn't trust it yet, and is still using the
box - but he was traumatized by the Litter Maid
and may never get over it.
(Litter Maid was one of the worst investments I
ever made!!)
The other two Birmans are experimenting,
and I think they like it.
No more spraying over the edge of the box, and
no smell. I love the convenience of the drawer.
Why
didn't I buy one of these
before! It is great!

This is the fourth automatic litter box I have
tried. I am on a limited income but love my cat.
So I tried others first because of the price. It
was a waste of money.
I PROMISE YOU, I have had this litter box for almost
2 years now, and it is absolutely the BEST thing
that will ever happen to you and your cat.
I am retired, brought my cat with me, and live in
Cancun, MX. Shipping here is difficult. Receiving
any shipping, other than FedEx, is doubtful. It is
either takes over a month, is lost or stolen. The
company was new and not willing to ship directly
to me. So I had it shipped to my daughter in San
Francisco, and she brought it on the plane to visit
me. I would have preferred that the company agreed
to my request to ship it to me by FedEx. Perhaps
they now do that. My daughter bringing it on the
plane from San Francisco was not the best move I
ever made, but she has forgiven me!
I can absolutely 100% guarantee that this will make
the life of you and your cat better than you EVER
imagined. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but not more
expensive than trying all of the cheaper brands first!
And how does price compare to you and your cat being
happy? I can go back to the USA to visit my kids
for over a month at a time, and my maid only checks
to see if my honey has food and water, and NEVER
has to change the litter! I find NO DUST and absolutely
NO SMELL. It is the best automatic cat litter box
on the market!

Greetings,
I ordered the Litter Robot before Christmas
and I am very glad I did. I was a little bit concerned
about the price, but I can say it is worth every
penny! I have 4 cats and my bathroom never smells
anymore.
I was also worried that my cats would be
scared of it because 3 of them were wild that I
brought inside. But I can say they used it right
a way no problem.
I also want to pass on 2 tips I use the scented
trash bags that I found at the local dollar store
to make the soiled litter smell a little better.
I also
use Filter Fresh Whole Home Air Freshener filter
pads that you use for your home filters in the garbage
bag area to make it smell good too.
Thanks so much ,

I
received my litter robot on the second of January
2008. My 2 cats were there as I unpacked their new
gift. Ernie is a black 8 month old pound kitty and
Sweeney is a 7 week old fluff ball. You could not
ask for sweeter well behaved felines. Ernie ( named
after Sesame Street) sleeps with our 2 year old and
guards our 8 month old. Sweeney has the same disposition.
I felt they deserve the best. What more could I
give these great felines? I know —the litter robot.
At the time I had the mega litter
maid. I had it for 4 years. It was nice but such
a pain to replace the poop cans and the maintenance
was NOT fun. Once a month I cleaned this thing
out and sprayed the whole thing with vegetable
oil to
keep the parts moving. Yet the rack would still
jam on a big load, be in pee or poo. The only reason
mine lasted that long was the care I gave it,
which in my opinion is not self cleaning.
So after
long
research I found the litter robot. I put it
together and I swear both my cats were in it within
the
first
few seconds of the initial cycle. I used some
old litter with new but I think they were just
into the privacy of the dome. Since I have been an
electric
litter box consumer for many years I have to
say
I have never been more excited by this product.
Thanks
so much,
Autumn, Ernie and Sweeney

The Best Christmas Gift!
I bought the litter robot as a Christmas gift to myself
and love it. It seemed pricey so I purchased a reconditioned
unit and my cat took to it as soon as I set it up.
I also received the unit very quickly after ordering.
This strange looking, yet wonderfully working machine
makes litter clean up as effortless as possible.
I
highly recommend this product to anyone in search of
easing the litter box burden. Also, adding an small
open box Arm & Hammer Fridge and Freezer Odor Absorber
to the collection bin completely eliminates any smell.
Thank you Litter Robot for such an amazing product.

I’ve been using the litter robot for a few
years now. The new one is MUCH improved over the earlier
model. It’s lighter and has a larger “waste
bin”. My 3 year old cat Sushi (a ragdoll) thinks
the litter robot is a personal sandbox and just spends
a lot of time playing in it as well as doing his business.
I told Shirley I would try to send a pic but I’ve
never been able to catch him facing FORWARD in time
to snap the picture.
I have included a picture of him anyway and someday
there’s be a cute one of him in the litter robot.

Sushi thanks you for making such a great product!!!

My wife and I have 4 cats. Before owning the Litter
Robot we owned 2 litter maid litter boxes, and only
the older one with the plastic rakes could keep up
with the 4 cats some of the time. But the cost of
the plastic containers that the waste gets scooped
into plus the amount of litter we would go through
was getting out of control.
We debated and researched the Litter Robot for about
8 months, because we just couldnt convince ourselves
that any litter box was worth paying 300.00 for.
After having the Litter Robot for about 7 months
now we love it. Not only can it handle all 4 of our
cats, but we are using so much less litter then ever
before. There are 2 great things about the Litter
Robot, 1) there are no special bags or containers
you have to purchase and 2) It works great.
Yes 300.00 is a lot to spend on a litter box, but
after owning a Litter Robot for several months now,
I would easily pay more for one (but please dont
raise the price).
Thank you for a product that works extremely well.
This customer will be getting another one this year
for our downstairs. Not that we need one but we spoil
the cats?
Have a Happy and Safe New Year to all who work for
Litter Robot.
Thank you,

We received a litter robot towards the end of October.
It was to replace a Litter "Old Maid" that
had not outlived its usefulness but was only a month
old. I call does all ! How does this litter robot
thing work? Easy she says. Litter and clumps are
separated when the unit turns and clumps are dumped
into the
draw and it then revolves back into position.
Happy
days are here again. . We have 3 of the six cats
now using it. Perhaps after the holidays we can get
the other three such a present. No fuss, no muss,
and NOTHING MISSING THE TRAY !!! This has been the
best purchase since my last amateur radio antenna.
I was astounded at one little (?) kitty I call "His
Highness." Markings indicate at least part Ossie
cat. He was the first one to use it and came out
with his head held high.
So far, I am proud to say,
I am not sorry for this purchase. Clean out is
easy, replacing litter is easy, and so is saying
Get to
the Robot dukes. I had just one little problem
soon to be solved. This was placed on a hardwood
floor
and caused elevation in the noise factor. I am
planning to get a one inch thick piece of foam rubber
as a
sound absorber and it should be fine. Summation
- best litter picker upper on the market.

I ordered the Litter Robot after going through
three messy, smelly, sticky
Litter Maids. We have had it for two weeks now, and
I have to say this is
worth the money! We went cold turkey, took out the
Litter Maid and put in
the Litter Robot, and our cats, (five of them!),
went right in and have been
using it ever since.
No expensive receptacles! No scooping! No sticking!
No smell! No mess! WOW!

The Litter Robot II is a very sturdy and well made
product. It is one of those products that make you
scratch your head and say "Why didn't I think
of that"?
We have had the LRII for only 6 days now. We put it
to the test by having our two felines quit their regular
litter box Cold Turkey! To our surprise they went right
to the LRII without any qualms. No coaxing. No tricks
except we put about a 1/2 cup of old litter in to get
a familiar scent to the box as suggested in the LRII
owner’s manual.
Is the motor quiet? You bet! The noise of the LRII
is no more than a minimal hum at best. To us, it is
music to our ears. We live in a small house and the
only living beings in the house that hear it kick in
are the cats. They scramble to it and sit in front
to watch it tumble, kind of like people standing at
a window downtown watching television displays on a
big game day. Within four days it became old hat and
they now go about their business after doing "their
business".
I can't speak highly enough of the LRII. In just 6
days we can see the money savings. In 6 days, after
the initial set up of 9 pounds of litter, we have added
only 5 coffee mugs of litter to the batch. Every other
day we sprinkle a bit of Arm & Hammer baking soda
in and pull it just below the surface of the litter
and then, NO ODORS. Litter is not wasted over a huge
surface area due to the contour inside of the LRII.
Be honest with yourself. You know that you are throwing
out more litter than is being used doing it the old
way. The LRII wastes no litter whatsoever.
Sprinkling a couple of tablespoons of A & H in
the new bag after changing the soiled bag controls
the odor as well. I have a very sensitive sense of
smell and the odor is actually less than with a regular
litter box and most of the time it is non-existent.
With two active cats we have found that every three
days (72 hours) is the safe limit for changing the
litter bag. We could possibly push it and go 5 days
in an emergency but we have not had the LRII long enough
to vouch for that.
We did a LOT of investigating before making this purchase
and hands down, research paid off. And with such a
great money back guarantee like the LRII, what's to
lose? Nobody and I mean NOBODY has this kind of satisfaction
guarantee except for Costco.
We read review after review after review and the most
negative thing we found was that some cats tend to
urinate over the edge and into the outside tray. Well,
that was easy to figure out. Follow the instructions
and keep the litter at the two inch below or lower
level at the entrance. If you overfill the cat stands
too high and of course they are then standing over
the edge of the portal at that moment in the event
they don’t turn around. It's like putting a tyke
at a urinal and expecting him to hit the urinal on
the inside when he stands a foot under the urinal.
We have one cat that spins around inside and the other
just steps in and we can see that the height of the
litter is an important factor toward satisfaction of
this product. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. The folks at
LR know what they are talking about.
Seriously, If you
are looking for a litter box and not just "any litter box",
the LRII is the one to purchase. Besides, if you or
your kitties are
not happy, you get your money back. It's that simple.
You won't be sorry.
And NO, my wife and I are not being
paid to say anything in this testimonial. We don’t
want to oversell this fine product but it truly is
a fantastic piece
of workmanship and well thought out. Ed

This is, by far, the best litter box ever! Easy set-up; Low litter usage;
No smell. We'd been through two Litter-maids before giving up on them.
Too many times the rakes had to be cleaned and the last one quit working
within 2 months of purchase. We chose not to even return it....We didn't
want another one...even if it was new. However, the Litter-robot works
perfectly, and, as an added bonus (to your wallet), there's no special
bags to buy...just use whatever bag you have available around the house.
We're as happy as our cats are!

The Litter Robot arrived 2 days ago. It was shipped
promptly and arrived in perfect condition.
I have been waffling about this purchase for about
two years. I'm so tired of scooping, but to spend
so much for an alternative seemed crazy.
Good news... Easy set up. Well written manual. It
fit perfectly in the space of my old covered litter
box. Both cats went in and sniffed.
More good news... Second day both cats had pooped
and peed in it. I have now removed the old litter
box. This seems premature, but I have confidence.
I did a manual cycle and I'm so amazed by the clever
design. If you watch it do its thing you can appreciate
the genius of this product. My hat is off to the
LR folks.
Thanks,
John

We have had our litter robot since Sept. 06 and are thrilled with it.
I only had one cat when we bought it, now I have three because of it.
We got the second cat at the end of Sept and he was only 2lbs and had
no problem using it. He was to little to trigger it, but that was okay.
Now I just go the third cat in Sept this year and she was small like
the second and had no problem using the litter robot. It is the best
litter box I have found. And if your wondering about the price don't,
because the time it will save you in clean up is well worth the price.
And by the time I returned all the stuff with the old litter box (bags, tent, litter,
ect..) it was well over the price they want for this unit anyway. Please
be advised your cats will love it and be very curious about and you won't
mind the clean up. Thanks Litter Robot.
Sincerely

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know
how pleased I am with your product. I have 4 cats
and scooping multiple litter boxes was a daily chore,
I was wasting tons of litter and my cats were not
very happy. After I began using the Litter Robot
I was amazed how well it worked, so much so that
I kept forgetting about it! For anyone who is considering
purchasing any type of automatic litter box, here
here are the reasons you should by the Litter
Robot:
Much quieter than any other automatic litter box,
you can hardly even hear it! Never jams!!!! no parts
to constantly clean and unclog! Saves a ton of money
in litter and supplies. practically pays for its
self if you have a multi cat household. I am down
to emptying a try every 2-3 weeks instead of scooping
every other day! A huge time saver Absolutely worth
the price!!!
The only feature I would add is a level so that
you can see if it is sitting correctly. I have it
in my basement, and the only time that I have had
to reset it is if I had placed it on a surface that
was not even. Once I found a nice level area, I have
never had an issue.

It has been a month and though I had my doubts,
I am still thrilled with robot. I have two cats,
one very large main coon, and wasn't sure if he would
be able to use robot when I saw the size of the opening
to access the litter. Wrong, he figured it out quickly,
and now puts his rather large rear end to the back
and sticks his head out the front. The convenience
is what I was looking for. Whenever I went away for
the weekend, I would have to ask someone to come
in and clean the litter box EVERYDAY. Now it only
has to be done every third day. I did find that the
13 gal bags work better, the 8 gal are really too
tight and harder to get in place, not to mention
the 13 gal bags are cheaper due to their popularity.
Would I recommend Litter Robot, you bet and have
to many of my friends, the price is the only thing
holding them back, but for me, it was worth every
penny.
