How well would it hold up with 12 cats in the house? Obviously I can’t afford 13 litterboxes which is the usual suggestion with 12 cats. How many would I have to have and how well would they hold up. We’ve tried the boxes that auto scoop after each use {when we had 3 cats} and they broke within weeks, one within days. And that was when there were only 3 cats using them. At $100+ per box I obviously quit buying them since they didn’t work AT ALL!

We recommend 4 cats per Litter-Robot, however we have customers with 6 or more cats using one Litter-Robot. With one cat the Litter-Robot waste drawer needs to be emptied once per week. 2 cats twice per week and so on. Multiple cats means more cleaning cycles and more work for the Litter-Robot however we have designed the Litter-Robot to last under these circumstances. If something does wear out or break you can purchase replacement components rather than purchasing a whole new unit.
