  2. Is it possible to add a second user access? If so, how can it be done?
Hello! Only one serial number can be attached to an account at a time. However, your login information can be shared with a second user so both of you can view the insights. We hope this helps!

  3. Does the entire globe rotate like in previous models) or does the outside stay stationary while the inside of the globe rotates?
Hi Dee! The outside (bonnet) stays stationary while the globe rotates. The bonnet completely encompasses the globe on Litter-Robot 4.

  4. Does anybody else have issues with moisture in the filter and down inside the machine itself?
Hi there! If you use a plant-based kitty litter, moisture in that part of the machine can be common. It can also occur depending on where in the home your Robot is kept.

  5. How much does your kitten/cat have to weigh for it to work?
Hi, Kristin! Great question. Kittens that weigh 3 pounds or more can safely use Litter-Robot 4 in automatic mode, while kittens that weigh 5 pounds or more can use Litter-Robot 3 (with or without Connect) in automatic mode. If your kitten does not meet this minimum weight, leave Litter-Robot off to operate in “semi-automatic” mode. When you see your kitten has used Litter-Robot, turn it on, and Litter-Robot will automatically perform a clean cycle. Once it finishes, turn the power off. This way, your kitten is safe while they get accustomed to Litter-Robot at a young age, and you don’t have to scoop the litter box! We hope this provides further clarity.

  6. Would a Savanna cat fit into either of the litter-robots?
It can depend on the cat and their individual comfort levels but there are many 25+ lb cats using the Litter-Robot 4 comfortably. To give you a better idea of the space, inside the globe is 15”-17”H (depending on litter level) x 19”W x 18”D.

  7. What happens when my power goes out? Is there a Manuel feature? Or do I revert to an old fashion box?
Hi, Zan! Great question. In the event of a power outage, the Litter-Robot 4 won't function, unless the optional Backup Battery is installed. It's rechargeable and will provide power for 24-48 hours, and once power is restored, will recharge. You can view more information about this product here: www.litter-robot.com/litter-robot-4-backup-battery.html. We hope this helps!

  8. i just purchased a litter robot 4. i have two ragdoll cats that are very similar in weight but no looks, is the cat detection going to be able to tell them apart?
Hi Scott, that's a great question. The SmartScale® system distinguishes between multiple cats by tracking their weight. If your cats are within 1 pound of each other, we will unfortunately not be able to distinguish between them. In this case, the SmartScale® feature will automatically turn off.

  10. With the 4 adult cats version. How often does the litter have to be changed?
Thanks for your inquiry, Chris! It can depend on their bathroom habits and any health issues but with 4 cats, it'd be normal to have to empty the drawer once a day or every other day.
