Are the electronics or power source dangerous to my cat?
There are no electrical components inside the globe. Litter-Robot operates on a safe 15 Volts DC using an adapter very similar to the ones you may have at home for a clock radio or for charging your cell phone.
If your cat tends to chew cords, you may want to consider getting a power supply with cord protector
