You will need:

  • Phillips-head screwdriver
  1. Press the Power button to turn the unit off.

  2. Press the bonnet tabs on either side of the unit to release the bonnet.

  3. Rotate the bonnet backward and lift the bonnet up to remove it from the unit.

  4. Flip the bonnet over to expose the underside of the bonnet where the circuit board is located.

  5. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the screw holding the circuit board bracket.

  6. Remove the circuit board from the bracket.

  7. Unplug the circuit board from the wire harness.

  8. Plug the wire harness into the replacement circuit board.

  9. Place the replacement circuit board into the bracket.

  10. Reinstall the bracket on the bonnet, securing it with the screw. Secure any loose wires by taping them flat against the bonnet; when the globe rotates, it may catch on the wires and cause the rotation to pause with a yellow flashing light.

  12. Rotate the bonnet forward, aligning the tabs with the corresponding slots in the base. Snap the bonnet securely into the base.

  13. Press the Power button to turn the unit on. Confirm that the night light function is working properly by covering the light sensor (located above the Cycle button on the control panel) to see if the night light comes on or not.

  14. Please note:
    1. To turn the night light function off, press and hold the Power button for about 5 seconds. The night light will flash on, then off.

    2. To turn the night light function on, press and hold the Power button for about 5 seconds. The night light will flash on and, depending on the ambient light, the night light will either stay on (if low light) or turn off (if bright light).
