Feeder-Robot: Power light solid red (Tower sensor error)

Preparation

The Feeder-Robot is equipped with sensors in the status indicator tower that measure the level of food within the hopper.

If the power light is solid red, this indicates the tower sensors may have failed.

First let's perform a power cycle.

  1. Press the power button to turn your unit off.
  2. Wait 15-30 seconds.
  3. Press the power button to turn your unit back on.
Successful: If your Feeder-Robot displays a blue power light, you've been successful.
Unsuccessful: If you are still seeing a red power light, please continue.

Troubleshooting

Next we'll clean the tower sensors.

  1. Disassemble and clean Feeder-Robot (refer to our Care & Cleaning guide).
  2. With the small brush provided or a cotton swab, clean the two black sensors at the top of the tower that look down into the hopper.

Successful: If your Feeder-Robot displays a blue power light, you've been successful.

Unsuccessful: If you are still seeing a red power light, there's likely an issue with your Feeder-Robot.
