Litter-Robot 5: Ramp installation guide

The Litter-Robot 5 Ramp provides easier access for your cat while keeping litter tracking to a minimum. Follow the steps below to assemble and install your ramp.

Before you start

Parts required

• Ramp
• Ramp stand
• Ramp adapter

Note: There's no need to remove existing accessories on your Litter-Robot 5. Both the fence and original step can remain installed when using the ramp. 

Assembling the ramp

1. Flip the ramp over and slide the ramp stand into the designated slots until it clicks into place.

Installing the ramp adapter

The bottom of the base has two slots for installing the ramp adapter.

2. Install the ramp adapter into the bottom of the ramp by sliding it into the designated slots until it snaps securely into place.

3. Slide the ramp onto the Litter-Robot 5 by lining up the bottom edge of the ramp with the adapter. The magnets on both pieces will engage to hold it in place.

Final step

4. Short press the  Cancel button to zero the weight sensors.

Successful installation: 
The magnets should engage with the ramp adapter and the ramp stand should be securely in place. The unit should display a solid white light once the weight sensors are zeroed.

Removing the ramp and adapter

Remove the ramp

1. Slightly lift the front of the ramp. Pull the ramp away from the unit to release the magnets from the adapter.

Remove the ramp adapter

2. Grasp the adapter firmly with one or both hands and pull outward to release it from the base.

Note: The adapter is designed to fit securely and may require a firm pull to remove. Avoid twisting or using tools.

Remove the ramp stand from the ramp

3. Flip the ramp over so the stand is closest to you and push the legs of the stand forward. Continue pressing until the stand clicks free from the ramp.
