Earth Day was founded in 1970 by Wisconsin Senator, Gaylor Nelson, surrounding the Santa Barbara oil spill of 1969. Each year on April 22nd millions of people celebrate Earth Day by making a pledge to do their part to maintain a healthy, sustainable environment.
Automated Pet Care Products, Inc. is also making a pledge. This year, we will host an 'Earth Day Ideas' contest.
